There was one more thing that would complete her Gryffindor training, which would mean she just needed one more step to complete her entire spy training.

That one leftover step was to fight a spy of her trainer's choosing. That was how Gryffindor ended their training session.

"I have to fight Marlene?" Lily asked as she walked with James to the middle of the room, where a boxing ring was set up and ready.

"It's a simple fight, nothing to worry about," shrugged James.

"Coming from the man who had fought many people before."

"You want to go on the field, right, Falcon? Well, this fight is the final step that can help us determine which house to place you."

"Will it make me go to the field?"

"It will. I thought my first question would have made the answer to that obvious."

"I'm going to hurt you one of these days."

"Are you willing to flip me more than the two times you already flipped me, Evans?"

"Actually, it was four," the redhead corrected him, a small smirk on her face as she remembered the great feeling of flipping a jerk over her shoulder.

"You enjoy them."

"Of course I do!"

"Are we going to fight, Falcon, or are you going to flirt over there with Prongs?" Marlene asked.

"I'd rather flip him again than flirt with him," the redhead said as she entered the rink. She felt like she was getting ready for a boxing match, especially after James handed her a pair of red boxing gloves.

"You will do fine," James reassured when he saw her eyes enlarged slightly.

"Coming from the guy who doesn't have to fight," the redhead sneered at him as she wore the red gloves.

He patted her head as if she was a lost puppy and gave her a reassuring smile before turning her around and giving her a pat on the back.

"I think you want to kick the man behind you instead."

The redhead nodded.
"Don't go easy on me."

"I never go easy on anyone," Puma gave the newcomer a smirk before she threw the first punch.

"I told you Gryffindors like to aim first, thinking with their fists rather than their heads!" everyone heard Dorcas Meadows' comment.

"I'll get you for that later, Cobra!" shouted Marlene as she threw another punch at the redhead. Thankfully, she ducked in time.

They kept throwing punches at one another, circling one another. The watchers were slowly getting bored as each minute kept passing on.

"Good job, Newbie," Marlene McKinnon smiled down after eventually beating her competitor.

As Marlene high-fived the watchers back, James Potter helped the redhead stand up.

"You'll bruise, but you did well, kiddo."

"I lost."

"That is only because you went against Marlene, someone who is much more experienced than you."

"Gee, thanks," she said bitterly as she took off her pair of boxing gloves.

"I didn't say anything out of the truth," James Potter shrugged. "Plus, you did well."
