𝟿:𝟺𝟾 𝚊.𝚖. IIt was her last day training with Hufflepuff and she felt like she was a trophy that everyone wanted to grab.
On her way to Hufflepuff's training units, which just so happened to be close to the kitchens, she felt everyone was staring at her. News about her achievement had reached every corner of HQ like a rat searching for all the cheese it could find.
Maybe she was curious. Maybe she was so curious that she decided to try and blend in with walls just to hear what people say about her behind her back.
"How come she could finish a week's training in three days?!" she heard one of Hogwarts' spies say, as her friend, another spy.
"I don't know, but there is a rumor they are have already used her medicine on the field," spoke her friend.
"She's crazy smart," said the first spy, jealousy present in every word she had said.
"And you are obviously jealous," spoke a third voice that obviously was not supposed to be a part of the group. "Get on to your training units."
She heard the spies shuffle along to the training units of whatever house they are in.
When the hallways seemed empty, not a single soul in sight, the third voice decided to speak once more.
"Falcon, get out of that alcove," he ordered.
She knew it was no use hiding from him and acting as if he was never there because that rarely worked, no matter what age the person happened to be.
"Could you have let me hear what they had to say?"
"I thought you didn't like gossip."
"I don't, but the only people that talk to me are the people that seem in charge of this place-"
"There's Dorcas, Mary, Marlene, Sirius, Remus-"
"All who happen to be your friends."
He shrugged.
"Mary was your friend since college, if I'm not wrong about that piece of information.""How do I know you didn't set that up as well?"
"You have trust issues," he smirked.
She really wanted to strangle him and possibly would have strangled him if it wasn't for a fellow spy, one that was mentioned actually.
"Lily! Ready for your last day?" asked the friendly face of Mary MacDonald, otherwise known as Mega.
"Ready as I'll ever be," she shrugged.
"You look a little pale... did you eat breakfast?"
"Did I?"
"It's a good thing the kitchens are close to Hufflepuff, come on!" said Mary as she grabbed a hold of the redhead's wrist. "You have to eat before we start."
"Maybe I already did."
"Then why did you ask yourself if you did and you kept thinking about it?"
"Maybe I am tricking you? Plus, my skin is always pale."
"Well, you are paler than usual in my eyes."
"Kitchens are near the infirmary?" the redhead asked.
"Seems weird at first, but you will find out it is a smart interior choice," stated James Potter, reminding both girls that he was present around them.
