They looked all over HQ for the little kid that had gone missing overnight, even the younger spies and the children of elder spies were worried out of their minds as they helped find him. But, the quest was unsuccessful. The babe was not in any corner of the premises of Hogwarts HQ.

"We'll have to split into teams," James Potter controlled the group. "We'll search again. There has to be a corner we've not looked in yet. This time we look neat and right."

"Mate, we've already looked," Sirius Black tried to argue. He knew what was truly going on with his friend, but he didn't want to state it in front of an entire crowd.

"Look harder," James urged.

While everyone filed out to look for the young child, Sirius Elijah Black came to his friend.
"You have something up your sleeve, Prongs."

"Look for your godson, Padfoot, and don't worry about me," James exited the room without another word.

Yes, he did have a plan, but James Potter was not keen on sharing it with anyone. He wanted to figure it out himself, no man or woman involved, in order to have a clear and straightforward mind. But, most of all, he did not want to get anyone else involved in the danger his ideas could possibly lead to.

Everyone was focused on the work they were assigned. After looking around HQ for what seemed like the hundredth time in the day (when it was actually just the third), one team decided they would rather look for clues to actually use than lead themself to nothing.

Many teams were all over the place, but this team chose to walk the halls of Hogwarts as they discussed some clues and some plans they could try.

"Lily says she just woke up, stranged by the fact that there was no cry or fussing around, so she went to check it out, and bam!" Sirius used his hands to express an explosion. "No baby, no Harry, around."

"That's a clue we need some follow-up on," Marlene said. "Alice said she's going to go check the apartment with some high tech that I barely understood and I don't know if that's because I don't have food in my system or if I'm just too tired."

"Good thing my apartment's here then," Dorcas dragged her girlfriend inside the room first before beckoning everyone else. "I ordered pizza."

Marlene dived to the couch and laid on it for a matter of two seconds before Sirius raised her feet and sat down beside her.

"Get off, Padfoot," Marlene muttered.

"I want to sleep too, Puma, be lucky I'm not laying on top of you."

"I'll go tell Lily," Dorcas addressed Remus. "Make sure they don't burn the place down while I'm gone."

"I'll see what I can do."

She was back in her old room. It surprised her that they have not done any change to the place or even given it to any new spy that had been recruited lately, but she couldn't be more grateful.

The new mother couldn't handle the shared room without her boyfriend or her son in it. It looked and felt to her as if it was a house of terrors, spoked by the ghosts of her entire timeline - past, present, and future.

She worked frantically on her laptop, typing and typing away as she reminded herself of the old days in college when she was studying chemistry. That was one - two, at the very most - years ago, but it felt like a lifetime ago for her. With being a spy, lots of events could happen in just one day. It would be an endless amount of events for what happens in a year for a spy.

Lily Serenity Evans had been typing for hours.

After the first hour, her sister found her and stayed with her for thirty minutes before the redhead asked her sister to leave. In the second hour, her mother found her and didn't stay long because she knew her daughter. During half of the third hour, her neighbor Dorcas Meadows came checking by, asking if she needed any food, but the redhead declined.

Ten minutes later, Remus Lupin bought three slices of pizza and a soda.
"You learned the 'zoning-out-everyone-during-work' move from Ravenclaws, and both of us know that your brain won't be able to work much longer without fuel in its system. Whenever you want it."

He left only after a mutter of thanks from her, which didn't take long.

One more hour later, her father took up the courage to sit beside her on the bed.
"Not hungry, Falcon?"

"Not now."

"James is missing," her father bought the topic as if it was going to be new news for her.

"I know."

"You know?" she could feel her father raising an eyebrow. "The man has not been seen for two days and you apparently know where he is."

"I don't know where he is, but I do know he is out there somewhere searching for our son," in the many hours of typing, Lily Evans finally looked away from the screen. "Now, pizza me up."

Christopher Evans sighed as he handed a pizza to his daughter. Before she could return to work, he gave her a side hug both of encouragement and understanding because he understood from where she was coming. Just like her, he was a parent too, and he had his own children that he fretted about even when he was not around.
That's probably the biggest regret Christopher Evans has in life: not spending enough time with his daughters. Because of that, they grew up and he was not able to see that.

It was dark outside, and at this point, he probably did not know where he was.

The shelves were empty except for one lonely book. Cautiously, he picked it up. The spine was worn, well-loved, and seemingly harmless. Until he realized what this book was. It was a copy he knew all too well.

Hamlet.

Now frantic, James flipped through the pages. Suddenly the book hit the floor, landing with a thud. The same word circled over and over again.

Ophelia.
