As the six of them set aboard the Argo II for yet another trip to the ancient lands, they were worried beyond belief. "I'll keep the kids safe, I promise. If anything goes wrong I'll IM you." Calypso told them. IM means Iris message.
Anyways, as they started their quest, they all sat in the Mess Hall as Leo turned the ship on autopilot. Once he came back downstairs, they began the meeting. "Alright, so we are heading to the Doors of Death. What if they aren't there?" Percy asked.
"Has anyone tried communicating with them?" Leo asked. Everyone looked around to see if anyone had. "Really?" Leo asked as he fished a drachma out of his pocket. The seven made a rainbow as Leo said "Oh Fleecy, do me a solid and show me Allie White."
And so, as the rainbow shimmered, the six gathered around Leo, waiting to see if they could see Allie.
After a minute of just sitting there, waiting in suspense, the rainbow began to show a clear picture. It showed a counter top with a box of drachmas. "I don't understand." Annabeth said. Well, that's a first.
"Annabeth?" Asked a voice. Up popped a tall, blonde man with violet eyes. "Castor!" Annabeth said.
Next popped up the girl of the hour. She walked out from inside a closet. "Castor, who are you-" She started.
Allie looked at us and bit her lip to keep it from trembling. But that didn't stop tears from welling up in their eyes. "Oh my gods..." Allie stated.
"Allie!" Percy beamed as he sniffled. She smiled at him. "Hi." She said to all of us.
Then she asked, "Where are you guys?"
"We are on the Argo II, coming to Greece to rescue you." Leo stated.
"Don't go to Greece. We're in Venice." Allie told him. "Why are you there?" Hazel asked. "We were chased by some cyclops, then some hellhounds, then some wolves, then some katobleps." Castor replied.
Hazel nodded and asked "Just stay put, okay?"
"We'll keep you updated, can't make any promises." Allie replied with a mischievous smirk. "Always a trouble maker, huh?" Frank asked. She smirked even wider and said to Castor "We should probably close up this guys shop now."
Castor nodded and said "We'll IM you later." Castor wiped his hand through the rainbow and they all stood there in silence. "She's alive!" Percy exclaimed as he hugged Annabeth.
Annabeth smiled and hugged him in return. "But that means that we'll have to trade her in to get Piper." Jason said coldly. "What?" Percy asked him in a harsh tone.
"It's either Piper or Allie, basically." Jason retorted. "It doesn't have to be that way." Hazel told him nicely. "Yes, it does. We have to play by her rules if we want Piper back." Jason said to her.
"Her?" Hazel asked him. "Yes, the person who told me what to do was female. That's all I know." Jason told the group.
"First let's get Allie, then worry about the exchange." Frank said. That seemed to simmer down the tension that had been arising.
"I got first watch." Jason said as he stood and walked to the deck.
Everyone was silent as he walked out. "This must be hard on him." Frank said. Everyone looked to him, and so he continued "He basically has to choose between his wife and little sister. It isn't right."
They all stood there in silence. He was right, Jason had it rough. Hazel wondered what was happening to Piper right about now.
As the ship flew towards Italy, Leo reported that, since he made numerous updates to his beloved Argo II since the last time they had flew in it, they would be in Italy in two days time.
That is, without any monster attacks.
Hazel went to her cabin and sat on her bed. She wondered about what was going to happen next. Knowing the group she was with, it would be something bad.
They would most likely be attacked tonight and again tomorrow morning, and also have to make numerous stops on the way.
Annabeth walked into her room and sat in the chair next to her work desk. "You know," she started "Piper was what brought the two of us together. While I was gone, she befriended you, and before we met you, she befriended me. In fact, I'm pretty sure she brought the entire group together." Annabeth finished.
Hazel nodded in agreement. "Which is why we need to get her back." Hazel told Annabeth. "I don't know how we are going to do that while also keeping Allie alive." Hazel continued.
Annabeth looked up to Hazel and said "Me either."
Annabeth snickered and eventually started laughing. Hazel joined in not a moment later. They were screwed. They were running to Italy to pick up Percy and Jason's half-sister who was supposed to be dead in order to get Jason's wife back from a mysterious female kidnapper.
What a story, huh?
"I am so done, why can't we ever catch a break?" Annabeth asked her. Hazel shrugged her shoulders and said "We had almost a decade."
"You got that right; those were the best years of my life. I didn't have to worry about monsters coming to kill me every second while I was on a quest or Percy going on some insane quest to stop some almighty and evil Titan or primordial and in the long run, almost getting himself killed." Annabeth retorted, wearing a broad smile. Hazel snickered. They really had some crazy boyfriends.
And that was when the ship started to descend at an alarming rate, sending Hazel and Annabeth flying out of their seats and pinning them to the ceiling
