"Sammy!" He called out to his son.

"Sammy look at me!" Hazel cried out. Sammy turned to face the screen and slowly shook his head.

In a flash of darkness, Sammy was gone. "No!" Hazel cried into his shoulder. Frank sniffled and let his tears that had welt up in his eyes fall. He gripped her shoulders tightly and shook with fear. Frank grit his teeth together to keep from crying out in agony and he took deep, shaky breaths.

Calypso ran into the room, well, tried to.

She was being held back by ropes made of darkness "LEO!" She called out.

"Calypso!" Leo called as he looked forward into the IM. Calypso pushed forward and was trying to escape. The bond was tied around her waist and arms. Luke ran forward and tried to help.

He touched the dark, magical bond and staggered backwards. "What's wrong, Luke?" Calypso asked him.

He shook his head and swayed back and forth. Allie and Silena rushed forward and Allie caught him as he fell to the ground, his eyes wide with fear and his skin pale.

Percy clutched Annabeth's hand tightly, and she clutched his hand with just as much tightness.

Calypso now fought the bonds harder. She finally broke through them and fell to the ground on her hands and knees.

She crawled over to Silena, Allie, and Luke. That was when a dark wisp covered the screen, and ended the message.

"No, no, no," Hazel cried into Frank's shirt. Frank took a deep breath. "He'll be okay." Frank tried to reassure her with his chin quivering, though he wasn't very convincing.

"What was that? Should we turn back?" Jason asked.

"We are already half way there, we can pick up Allie and Castor and then speed home." Leo stated.

He was lucky, his family was essentially unharmed. Frank's son, his beloved son, had been what looked like possessed and captured. What if he went to the same place as Piper?

Hopefully that was the case, then they could get them both back.

"Alright, let's go." Annabeth said. Leo then said "I can try to speed us up more, that way we can get there before tomorrow and be back at camp in, like, three days."

"Do it." Hazel sniffled while keeping her face concealed in the folds of Frank's t-shirt.

Leo nodded and rushed upstairs. "Someone IM Allie, tell her what's going on." Jason said. He went to his room and slammed the door.

Frank looked to Percy and Annabeth, Hazel still crying softly into his shirt. They nodded and Frank lead Hazel to his room. Frank sat down with his wife on his bed. "Sammy will be okay, I know it." He told her.

"No, you don't realize what's happening." Hazel replied. "What do you mean?" Frank asked her.

"I had a dream a few nights back that Sammy would be taken over, his eyes turning the same color as they did just then. Whatever's possessing him is going to kill him. Sammy doesn't have the energy to hold that thing's spirit. So, the possessor is going to stab Sammy through the heart when he is basically drained." Hazel sobbed.

Frank's eyes widened and asked her in a hushed tone "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't know!" She said as she threw her hands up. "Maybe if I did tell you, we wouldn't have gone and he would still be okay. It's all my fault!" She cried.

"No, no it's not. This was going to happen either way. None of this is your fault, Hazel." Frank reassured her.

She just sat there for a while, crying into his shirt. Frank would definitely need to change his shirt after this, but he didn't care about that. His son was just possessed, his wife is in tears because she thinks it's her fault, and his son might die. What a great day!! Note the sarcasm.

"What are we going to do?" Frank asked faintly. "I don't know." Hazel whispered in return.

As they sat there, holding each other, a beam of light entered the room. It seemed to have come from the door, but this much light coming from the hallway was impossible. "What's going on?!" Frank yelled. He held an iron grip on his wife's hand.

But her hand started to slip away, despite his holding onto her with everything he had. The light seemed to enter into his room and form a hand. The hand grabbed Hazel's body and started to pull her towards the light.

"HAZEL!" He screamed. "FRANK!" She bellowed.

Frank grabbed her forearm and tried to hold her down. He can't loose her, too. There was banging on the door and yelling from the other side.

Yet, despite all that he did, she still slipped away. Hazel screamed once more and disappeared. The light faded and the door broke down. "What's going on?!" Percy asked.

Frank knelt on the floor with his hands outstretched. "Where's Hazel?" Annabeth asked. Frank shook his head and took a shaky breath.

Jason barged in at that moment and said "Oh, no."

Frank looked up to them, tears falling down his face, and nodded. He sat backwards and leaned against the bed. Frank cradled his hand to his chest. His hand was the last thing that Hazel touched.

His wife and son were gone, and probably going to get killed.

Whoever is doing this is going to have to deal with an angry Frank Zhang, and that is something that no one wants to mess with.

AH OKAY SORRY
Short chapter I know but I think that the content was okay
The Zhang family is dealing with some turbulence, oh well
The only families seemingly "unharmed" are the Valdez and the Jackson families.
I wonder.....
I guess that we'll see 😏😉
Thanks for everything!
