Chapter 26: Percy Jackson

As Hazel swiped her hand through the IM, Jason and Frank beamed. Their wives and Frank's child were safe.

They aren't worried about it now, but with their loved ones being released, Allie was captured. Castor looked down with a blank face, and Percy understood that full-heartedly.

She probably told him of all of the stuff she had been through. They were dating, so now Allie has more on the line than she previously had. Percy clapped Castor on the back and motioned for them to leave.

They walked out of the Mess Hall and into Percy's room. Percy closed the door as Castor sat on his bed. "What am I gonna do?" Castor moaned.

"I don't know, man." Percy said truthfully. "I love her, Percy. I can't just leave her. We have to do something, because I'm sure that you love her as much as I do." Castor said.

"I agree wholeheartedly." Percy said. "Something needs to be done." He continued.

Castor nodded and asked "But, what could we do?"

"Nico!" Percy exclaimed.

"What about him?" Castor asked. "He's a son of Hades, he could probably help get Allie back. He can shadow travel, so he could just pop into the palace and grab her! We need to get a hold of him ASAP." Percy explained.

How had they not thought of this sooner?! It was so simple!

Percy burst through his door with Castor at his heel. "Guys!" Percy called. "What's up, Perce?" Leo asked.

"Nico!" Percy exclaimed happily. "What about him?" Annabeth asked. "Couldn't he just shadow-travel into the palace and grab her?" Percy asked.

Realization dawned on their faces. "Why didn't we think of this before?!" Jason groaned. "How did you of all people come up with it, Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth asked.

"I guess I'm just smarter than you thought." Percy said with a smirk. Annabeth smiled playfully and shook her head.

"I'll IM him." Jason said. He pulled out a drachma and made a rainbow. "Oh Fleecy, do me a solid and show me Nico Di Angelo." He said.

The rainbow shimmered for a little while. It was growing on to be five full minutes before we heard Fleecy say "Sorry, the person you are trying to contact is currently unavailable. Would you like to try again?"

Jason grabbed another drachma and threw it in. He repeated himself and we waited again. Percy knew that Nico was at Will and his own house, or at least that was what he thought.

Percy was happy for them. He knew that Nico had feelings for him, for a little while after the trip, Nico had pulled him aside and told him so.

Nico clarified that he did not have those feelings towards him anymore. Percy thought that it was cute that Nico had a crush on him.

Anyways, the IM continued to shimmer for another five minutes before we heard Fleecy say "Sorry, the person you are trying to contact is unavailable at this time. Would you like to try-"

Before she could finish her sentence, the blackness on the screen seemed to grow darker. It was so dark that it seemed to make the room darker.

"Oh Gods," Annabeth said. Before anyone could ask Annabeth what she meant, there was a sudden flash of light.

We saw Nico struggling against two masked and cloaked people. The flash went back to darkness just as suddenly as it appeared. Then, there was a other flash of light. It showed Nico screaming towards the sky. It went black once again, just as soon as the flash appeared.

Then, another flash of light showed them of the events that were occurring. Nico was clenching his teeth together and struggling against the bonds while staring daggers at those who held him. Then there was darkness.

And then still, another flash of light. It showed him still struggling, but someone knocked him over the head and Nico crumpled to the ground, unconscious. Then, the screen turned a permanent black.

The crew just stood there, staring at the screen. "What was that?" Luke asked with creased eyebrows.

"I have no clue." Percy said as he looked at his son.

"Nico's been captured," Annabeth said. "that's what that was."

Everyone looked at her. Jason swiped his hand through the IM and looked at her. "What?" Jason asked in a confused manner.

"You all saw it. Those people must be working with Nyx. They might be the same people who took Allie." Annabeth said.

Castor's eyes widened as everyone else's closed in disappointment and fear. "I think I know who it is." He said.

Everyone looked at him and urged him to tell them. "I had a dream of the Fields of Punishment a little while back, the night before we got on the ship with you guys. The people who were once in Elysium were put there in cages made of lava. The people in the Fields of Punishment were 'let loose' I guess." He said. Castor made air-quotes around 'let loose'.

He continued with "I saw Nyx tell Dakota and Drew that they needed to go capture Allie. Because she was a common enemy, they agreed and were let into the mortal world."

"You have got to be kidding me." Jason said. Castor shook his head. Jason slammed his fist on the table and stoked his chin in frustration. Percy just stood there with his jaw and hands clenched.

"Every time it's those imbeciles." Jason snarled through gritted teeth. His daughter rested a hand on his arm, and Jason seemed to calm down. "It'll all work out." Allie said.

Percy had to admire that kid. She was blinded and was being used as a spy weapon, yet she was the most optimistic of them all. "I think that we all need some rest. Like I said, we'll be there in 10 hours, so by morning we will be there." Leo said. "I got first watch." Jason said. "I got second." Frank said. "Okay, see you guys tomorrow." Leo said.
