Chapter 8: Percy Jackson

"Hold on!" Leo called as he tried to regain control over the steering. Someone was tampering with the ships gears, and it was really making Percy mad.

Jason flew over to Leo to help him out. Frank turned into a Pegasus and offered Percy a ride. "Go to Hazel's room!" Percy called.

Frank got the message and turned into a dragon as he sped down, rather up, the stairs and towards the girls room. Percy opened the door and saw them plastered to the ceiling, clinging to the fan for dear life.

"Percy!" Annabeth called. "Frank!" Hazel called.

They slowly made their way over to them and climbed aboard the Frank-Zhang-express. Frank flew up to the main deck and saw Leo tampering with the gears and Jason grabbing tools.

"Anything, Leo?!" Annabeth called. "Almost!" Leo called as the ship inched closer to the ground.

"Got it!" Leo yelled as he yanked the controls upward and the ship shot straight back into the air.

Leo then turned the ship right-side-up and nearly fell to the ground, but Jason grabbed him so that he would not.

"Thanks man." Leo said as Jason set him down. Jason nodded as the rest stood from their seats on dragon-Frank. Frank turned back into a human and asked "What in Hades was that?"

"No idea, but I don't think that that will be the last time it happens." Leo stated. He was right. If this person wanted to mess with them, they would not stop now. Unless it was meant as harmless fun, which probably wasn't the case, they have something to worry about.

They had a hijacker that was tying to take over their ship.

"Who do you think is behind it? If you had to guess, I mean?" Leo asked them. Everybody shrugged their shoulders.

"Let's eliminate some of the people who could be behind everything that's happened." Annabeth suggested.

As they all ate dinner, Annabeth started to rattle off people. "Gaea, Tartarus, Tethys, Kronos, and Hyperion are all out of the picture."

"That still leaves a lot of people." Percy noted. "I never said it would be of much help, Seaweed brain." Annabeth retorted.

Percy smirked at her and took a bite of mashed potatoes.

She was beautiful when she was aggravated.

Anyways, Leo looked to them and said "We can probably eliminate the gods, right?"

"Hopefully." Hazel said as she took a bite of her newly-discovered chicken nuggets.

"Who do you think would do this, a Titan or a primordial?" Annabeth asked. "Let's hope a Titan. A primordial would be harder to defeat." Percy replied.

They all nodded and continued to eat their meals. Just then, an Iris message appeared before him. It was his son, Luke.

"Hey buddy, what's up?" Percy asked with a smile. "Um, are Auntie Hazel and Uncle Frank with you?" He asked nervously. What could have happened that was so bad?

They stood and gathered behind Percy. "What's wrong?" Frank asked. "It's Sammy." Luke said with a sad expression. There was a scream and a crash heard behind him and soon enough, everyone rushed up to the IM to see what was happening.

"Luke, what happened?!" Annabeth asked. "It's Sammy!" He called with a frightened look. Suddenly, a very large animal rushed into the room. It was a griffin. "Sammy! Change back, your scaring Silena!" Luke called.

A little girl rushed into the frame and started shooting fire-balls at Sammy. "Stop it, Silena!" Allie called from behind. She clasped her hand on Silena's shoulder and spun her around.

Sadly, Silena's hands were still raised when she turned around. Allie let out a might yell as she tried to make her face not be on fire. Silena put her hands down and said "I'm so sorry!"

Luke was obviously growing aggravated. "Allie!" Jason called from behind Percy.

Like screamed "Enough!" As he flooded the room with water. Sammy stopped struggling and turned back into a human. He lay motionless on the ground. Allie felt her face for any burn marks. Thankfully, there was only a minor burn on her forehead.

Luke breathed heavily and turned back to the IM. "Sammy's been out of control ever since you left." Luke stated while taking deep, frustrated breaths. "Where's Calypso?" Leo asked.

"She's helping Chiron at the Big House, something about pegasi." Luke said. Leo took a deep breath and said "Silena, come here."

Silena took the walk of shame and walked to the frame. "You know what I told you. No using your fire-powers unless necessary." Leo told her. She nodded and sniffled. "I didn't mean to hurt her, daddy. I'm sorry!" Silena said.

"Don't say sorry to me." Leo told her. Silena turned to Allie and said "I'm sorry."

Allie nodded with a small smile and said "It's okay, your still learning how to use your powers." Silena smiled at her. "Are you okay, Allie?" Jason asked her. She nodded.

"Luke, are you alright?" Percy asked him. Luke nodded, taking a deep breath. He then said with a smirk "I didn't know how much work this was, dad."

Percy laughed and said "Make sure Sammy's okay."

Allie rushed over to him and said "Hid breathing is fine. What do you think was wrong with him, daddy?" She asked.

Like walked over to her and the IM followed. Everyone could now see Sammy's face. He was deathly pale and soaking wet. "Oh my gods." Hazel said as she clung to Frank.

They watched intently as Sammy's eyes started to flicker. When he opened his eyes. An involuntary gasp was heard.

Sammy's eyes were pitch black.
