Chapter 18: Allie White

Castor sat up and was breathing heavily. He had been turning in his sleep, so Allie knew that he was having a nightmare.

"What's wrong, Cas?" Allie asked as she sat on the edge of his bed. "I-I don't think that you want to know." He said. His skin was as white as paper and he was shaking slightly.

"Tell me, it's obviously troubling you." Allie said. And so, Castor explained his dream to her.

When he told her that Drew and Dakota were now hunting for her, she grew enraged. She stood and paced about the room. "I knew you wouldn't like it." Castor said.

"Obviously! The two people who betrayed our camp and basically got me killed are out there hunting for me! Damnit Cas, what am I gonna do?" Allie asked. Her eyebrows were raised and she bit her lip in frustration. Allie's sea-green eyes were wide with fear, anger, and confusion.

Allie was frightened and scared. By her being with Castor, she was putting him in danger. She had to find out a way to end this whole situation quickly without anyone else getting hurt.

She couldn't handle loosing Castor. Over all of their time together, they grew extremely close. Allie knew that Castor felt the same way about her when he held her in his arms in Tartarus. When she saw the Scythian Drachnae, the memory of her death came flashing before her eyes. She was paralyzed with fear in that moment. If not for him, she probably would have died once again, against the same foul beasts that took her life in the first place.

She owed him her life.

Castor stared at Allie with an unreadable look. "You get some rest, I'll take watch." Castor said. Allie nodded and headed to the bed that Castor was previously in. She needed time to think this over. Sleep meant dreams, and Allie was not so happy about what dreams were to come.

She was walking around what seemed to be the Fields of Punishment.

"Do you see what you have caused?" A woman's voice mused her. "Leave me alone, Nyx." Allie replied. She really was not in the mood to be pestered by Nyx at the moment.

Everyone that was in Elysium was trapped in cages made of fire. Each of the Greek legends, Perseus, Odysseus, Hercules (his immortality was stripped from him about five years ago), and many others, were each alone in their cages whilst everyone else was in a cage with two others.

Perseus screamed in outrage. "Why are you people doing this?!" He asked the guards. A cyclops turned around and strode towards Perseus's cage. He said "Because we have orders to."

"From whom, might I ask?" Perseus replied . "Nyx, primordial goddess of the night." The cyclops said with a broad, evil smile. "What?" Perseus asked. He continued with "That is who's responsible for all of this?"

"Yes." The cyclops responded. "What needs to be done in order to set us free?" Perseus asked. "Allie White needs to be captured." The cyclops said whilst he turned around to start away from his cage.

"Allie White?" He asked. The cyclops took a deep breath and said "Yes,"

"Why? What good is she to a primordial?" Perseus asked. The cyclops turned around to face Perseus again and said "She is the daughter of the two most powerful gods on Olympus. She is extremely powerful. Why wouldn't a primordial want to have that to their advantage?"

"She isn't as powerful as she seems to be. She is weak, especially after her death. The Scythian Drachnae that bit her took away something, whatever it was, it made her weaker." Perseus said.

Allie knew what he was doing, and it wasn't going to work. He was trying to get her off of the hook by making her sound weak. Perseus wasn't wrong in what he was saying about her. When the Scythian Drachnae bit her, it did take away something.

After this, her dream changed. She saw Frank, Jason, Leo, Percy, and Annabeth aboard what she presumed was the Argo II.

"We'll be there in about an hour. Should we IM her now or once we get there?" Leo asked. "Once we get there." Annabeth replied.

"Do you think that anyone else was taken?" Frank asked. "If someone was taken, we would have been told about it." Leo replied.

And so, just as he said that, his wife, Calypso, appeared in an IM. "Leo, is everyone with you?" She asked. He nodded his head and asked "Yeah, why?"

"Something else has happened." She said. "How bad is it?" Percy asked as they all surrounded the IM. "It's getting worse with every minute." She said. And so, she explained what happened.

Allie watched as Jason's face fell even further. "We need to hurry." He said sternly. Jason was in an awful position. His daughter is near death's door and his wife is captured by Nyx.

Allie shook herself awake and Castor walked over to her. "What's wrong?" He asked. "We need to get going. Jason needs to get home; his daughter is in some major trouble." Allie said.

"How bad?" Castor asked. "Close to death." Allie responded.

Castor and Allie snuck out of the motel room and roamed the streets of Italy. If Jason's daughter dies, she will be taken by Nyx, and Allie was not going to let anybody else get hurt.

They went to an alleyway and sent an IM to the ship. Annabeth's face appeared on the screen and she said "Hey, we were just about to call you."

"Where are you?" Leo asked. "Venice still." Allie responded.

"We'll be there in, like 5 minutes." Leo said. "Okay, meet us at the huge park." Castor replied. "Sure thing." Leo said as Annabeth smiled and slid her hand through the screen.

"Well, let's go to the park." Allie said.

She was very nervous. She will be seeing her brothers and friends after a decade. They would all be so grown up. Though she already saw what they looked like over IM, it's going to be very different seeing them in person.

"You ready?" Castor said as they approached the park. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Allie replied. And so, as they approached the park, a giant, golden warship made its way through the clouds. A rope ladder was let down so that they could climb up. First went Castor, then Allie.

Once Castor got onto the ship, he helped Allie.

Allie looked at what was left of the crew. Standing behind Annabeth was a woman who resembled a dark ghost, Nyx.

Allie's eyes widened in fear and so she took out her dagger and threw it at Nyx's head. She disappeared so that the knife would hit the wall behind Annabeth.

"Chill out, Al." Castor said. "You didn't see that?" Allie asked as she looked up at him with a crazy look in her eyes. He shook his head in confusion. Allie closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Things were starting to get freaky.
