One week later

Frank's POV

I got a call, picked it up, and sat up on my bed, sweating. "Hello?" I whispered, looking around my clean room and rubbing my eyes a little. It was 3 pm now, you think I'd have the energy to move by now. "Frank, we need to meet up as soon as you're available," My boss informed me, though I sighed and kind of slouched. "Um, I can't sir. I've been using this new remedy and it's only been giving me slight relief most days," I sighed out.

"Oh, we'll be there in a second then, Frank. See ya," He told me, though I panicked. "We? What? Who's we? H-hello?" I asked, though he already hung up on me. My new phone had his contact, but the screen just shows he's hung up. Gerard showed me how to use this darn thing, groaning and shutting it off as I made my way down the stairs. Shit, at this point, I was ready to put a slide down half the stairs, and I was actually looking for one on the internet.

I got down the stairs, flopping on the couch, groaning as I heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled out, waiting a little bit and having to get up. I opened the door and saw my boss, welcoming him in and another person. Her hair was white, eyes purple, fair skin, a button-up shirt, and a long skirt. It took me back a little, seeing another angel smile at me. "Frank, how are you?" My boss asked, looking towards me as he leaned against the kitchen island. "Well, to be honest, shhhh- pretty bad," I admitted, avoiding using the "s word".

"Well, Mywana, I think he's already gone through all of it, if not most of it. I told you to check up on him," My boss told her, she nodded, shaking her head and then nodding again. "I didn't think he would be this much along by now," She admitted, looking at my boss. "Wha- what is going on? How far I am along in what? What's happening to me?!" I asked, finally having hope to know what was happening to me. Both of them looked at each other, sighing and facing me.

"Frank, you're not a demon," My boss informed me, my eyes widening and looking at the angel. "You're turning into an angel. We got the wrong Frank Iero, the being that filed you wasn't an angel and was quite new. He switched you up," Mywana explained, but damn, I couldn't wrap my mind around it. "Wh-what? What?" I found myself saying, shaking, and feeling my wings twitch. I pulled up the hoodie on one side, and let my wing stretch to show them the greyish wing. There were hardly any black feathers, the little bits only hanging on by a thread.

"Oh, my- Mywana? His wings! Oh my- you know what this means?" He asked, looking at her and smiling. "What?" I asked, putting down the hoodie and looking at both of them, feeling like I was about to burst. "He's about to develop emotions," He clarified. Now I was spiraling. What are emotions? "Frank, have you been able to feel? Like, anger, passion, happiness?" I was asked.

"What is... Does tired count?" I asked, tilting my head and looking at both of them once again. "Well, no, but- maybe you could look it up, ya know? I don't know how to explain it. I suggest on keeping a journal as well," Mywana advised, though all I knew to do was nod. "You should start to get energy here in a few days, just hang in there," She reassured me, patting my back as they started to leave. "Frank, now that we know where you are, your boss is Mywana. I'll forward all of her information to you after we apprehend the other Frank. Maybe you'll get a laugh out of this, his name is actually Frank Lero," My boss said, though I frowned and nodded again.

The door closed, spiraling with the new information. Emotions, being an angel, not being a demon, emotions. "Frank..." I heard a small voice, turning around quickly and seeing Gerard standing there, his wings expanding out of instinct, which in turn made mine twitch. "I kind of heard... everything. I was about to come downstairs for some food, but I kind of froze, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hear it," He explained, folding his wings back in. I felt this pit in my chest like I was holding my breath, but it was about to explode.

"Hey, I understand you're angry, Frank, but I could help you," Gerard spoke softly, which made me stop and realize my face hurt right at my T-zone. I stopped and hung my head, taking a breath, folding my wings in. "Why does it feel so... Explosive?" I asked quietly, looking up and seeing Gerard walking over to me slowly. "Because you keep holding it in," He whispered, but I was just glad that I was able to pinpoint what it was honestly. I leaned against the door, feeling my wings twitch.

"Um, since you know, can I take out my wings? They're a little cramped," I said, moving them a little and feeling the growing pain dull again. "Oh yeah, of course, I know they're growing from your other wings," Gerard assured, though I didn't mention that I was shirtless, but I still nodded. I pushed off the door, walked past him, and slid my hoodie off easily. I put it on the couch, stretching and sighing out of relief as I went to the kitchen to grab something to eat.

"Oh, you have tattoos," Gerard stated, probably looking at the ones on my back. "Yeah, the one that's kind of on my neck is actually my very first one, the jack-o-lantern. I liked it so much that I have a pair of matching shorts and... Yeah, it's my favorite so far," I told him, reaching up to grab some of these crackers that tasted close to Ramen. "Well, they look very cool," Gerard said, reaching above me and grabbing out a Ramen cup, but I don't know why it made me blush for him to be pressed up against me.

"You said you could help me, does that include figuring out what is what?" I asked, still keeping my back to him so he wouldn't see the other ones on my chest. Plus, it was a little cold now that I didn't have my jacket on and I could feel my nipples kind of rubbing up against my arm from time to time. "Yeah, I can help to the best of my abilities. Plus, it kind of makes you feel less alone, ya know?" Gerard asked, though I was realizing I wouldn't be alone in what I was supposed to be feeling. I nodded and ate another cracker as Gerard popped in his noodles, humming along to a song I recognized. I smiled as I ate, realizing that I wasn't as tired as I normally had been, moving my head a little as if I was nodding to a beat.
