UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags

Harry had gathered all the supplies he needed, with the exclusion of a winter cloak, work robes, and an owl. He was only getting an owl so he could officially have one of his own as Harry Potter, one that would allow him to send messages that weren't filtered through the school's owls which he was almost certain Dumbledore had laid monitoring spells over. He didn't really need one, but for official purposes, he couldn't use magic or his snakes to send messages for him because the snakes would mark him as dark and the magic would be too difficult for a child his age to perform.
The owl would be his last stop though, because he wanted to also look for more snakes as well. As he'd been gathering his supplies, there hadn't been anything interesting going on, and no other kids were around. It had been about six in the morning when he'd begun, but the purchasing venture had taken longer than he'd been expecting bringing him up to seven thirty now.
