Harry Potter/Era Damon White**

His eyes fluttered open and he was surprised to find himself completely ensconced in Lucius's arms. How had he gotten here? Wasn't he Harry? How'd he woken up? He never slept anymore.

His perspicuous eyes roamed the room, finding that he was in Malfoy Manor, and that all three of his mates were staring at him. The clock on the mantlepiece showed it to be just after one in the morning, and he could clearly tell that he was still Harry. What was he doing here?

"What happened?" Harry asked, his young voice a little scratchy from sleep.

Severus said, "You were working on your own version of the wolfsbane potion, but not the one assigned to you. You became completely engrossed in it and worked for hours on end, and though I tried numerous times to attract your attention, you never seemed to register me.

"I'm rather interested to know what happened, actually. When the potion was at last completed, you became positively delirious once you lost your adrenaline from the brewing process. You complained of being tired, were slurring your words, and finally fell unconscious.

"I did a healer's diagnosis spell on you, and it said you were still starving, even though you've been on potions that should have resolved that in the span of at most three weeks, which you told me you've been taking for months. You were also badly dehydrated and malnourished. I see you eat in the Great Hall though, so could you explain this to me?"

Harry focused on his hands, playing with his fingers, "I have a metabolic rate almost five times that of the average adult male. You see, my brain takes up too much energy, and so does my body, using all of the nutrients I eat and making my body remain alive even though the magic coursing through it is massively energy draining.

"I think what happened, if you don't mind a more expansive answer, is that the potion fumes began to affect me. You see, the alterations I originally made to the wolfsbane potion would have made it more effective, rather than turning the subject into a helpless wolf, it would have made them remain their true self.

"The problem with that, however, is that lycanthropy is a part of who they are intrinsically, so the potion would still have them turn into a wolf, although they would retain all of the human mental faculties they'd usually possess.

"What I did today, or, I suppose, yesterday now, was potion that would bind a person to their current form, forcing the werewolf to remain in human form and with their human brain during the course of the full moon. The problem for me personally with it, is that this body takes too much energy to sustain it, and by forcibly binding myself to this specific one rather than being able to draw on the strength of my true form, I was rapidly depleting my available stores of energy.

"Because I neither ate or drank for hours as I breathed in the fumes, I was entirely drained, and my magic likely overwhelmed my body to protect me from dying of thirst. In the process of its overwhelming me, it knocked me unconscious so it could fix the problem, reversing the affects of the fumes until my body could draw strength from my other forms again, and from the nourishment provided.

"I assume that I was given fluids and nutrients when the diagnosis was performed?" Harry queried, not really noticing the slightly odd looks he received from Tom and Lucius, assuming that Severus had already informed them of his split identity.

"Yes," Sev responded immediately.

It was a bit surprising that in the span of his time unconscious Severus had transformed into Sev, but he just let it slide, "Very good. I should be able to turn into Era quite easily then."

Harry slid off of Lucius's lap and immediately changed into Era.

Era could remember the case of nutrition potions he kept in his trunk, and summoned them to himself. Conjuring food from nothing was extremely complicated, as you have to know the exact chemical makeup of it in order to derive any benefit from it.
