**Era Damon White
His chocolate brown eyes were snapping in fury. That- That woman! How dare she neglect her own son! His kit! She was going to pay. He would make sure of it. That woman would desperately regret ever being less than perfect towards Draco.
"Era Damon White," he announced to the empty apparition area.
Few people were given the location and clearance to apparate into Gringotts, and even if it had not been a later hour, he doubted any others would be in the zone. Still, he was gratified when immediately a goblin came rushing out to greet him.
"Your majesty, I have been sent to bring you to Director Simmons directly. He has instructed that I am to dispense with formalities in our interactions, and I pray you accept such actions."
"I do accept, and offer in turn equal."
"Very good then. If you will follow me. . ."
They traveled to Ilium's office and as soon as they entered, Era said shortly, "I will be requiring the services of a divorce attorney."
Ilium's eyes held a hint of curiosity for a second, but it disappeared and he said, nonplussed, "Catchleap, go get Blackshard. It doesn't matter what he's doing, get him up here now."
"Yes, sir," the goblin who directed him here said before turning on his heel and walking briskly out.
Era waited silently, his rage like a kiln heated stone burning its ways slowly through his body. That woman was going to pay for her mistakes dearly, and he was going to make sure that in Draco's mind, she was nothing but a bad dream, one that lost all grip on him as soon as he was out of its hold. He'd 'wake up' and Lucius and Era would be there to reassure him that foul creature was gone.
He could feel Ilium's eyes on him, inspecting him, and Era was grateful the goblin picked up on his cues and withheld any questions or comments. Era honestly liked the goblin director of Gringotts, and had no wish to complicate any future interactions by lashing out right now in a bout of temper and causing tensions later.
The other goblin, Catchleap, returned then, thankfully followed by a skinny, sharp featured goblin with cunning tawny eyes and a nearly 4, 2" frame, (which, by goblin standards, was a essentially unheard of). He was wearing a very well tailored silk suit, that looked so simple that the conservative cut only emphasized how well made and expensive it had to be. Era inclined his head respectfully, figuring this new addition must be the requisitioned divorce attorney.
"Your highness," the tall goblin said, sweeping into a bow so graceful that he nearly mistook it for a curtsy, "I presume that you are my client, and therefore make no bones about telling you right now I will not play political games of etiquette with you. They waste time that could be put to better use, and seeing as Ilium here has already dropped formalities with you, I know there is nothing for me to gain by following that stratagem.
"So, princeling, what will you ask of me?"
"Well, first I insist upon you calling me Era, and second, I would like to employ you to be my mate's lawyer in his divorce. The. . . creature. . . he's married to, I want her destroyed, and for my mate to get full custody of his child. That woman he's married to is a neglectful mother, and is cruel to my new kit. I want any visiting rights revoked, and her to pay dearly for all the mistreatment she's dealt. Will you accept this job?"
The outrageously sized goblin flashed a grin, in so doing baring sharp, pearly white canines, and said, "I believe I will, though before committing I'll need to know my client's name."
"Lucius Malfoy," Era said immediately.
"Ah, is he indeed? Finally outed as a submissive then? Poor boy, that one was. In his younger years, it was unmistakable, but by the time he was fully grown he was so good at masking no one could tell anymore. It was the father's influence of course, with the damn bastard's 'pureblood pride' and all that codswallop. I do warn you though, our species has no respect for that family, so he is not going to be granted freedom from our etiquette. He also buys into the nonsense, no matter that without the non magic folk, wizards would decline in power and eventually just die out, considering their dormant magic is what keeps your active magics from dissembling."
