Chapter 29- Tease

Ahrianna's POV.

The next week at school went quickly, I made Nick apologise to Blake and Adam for the scuffle when we were playing in the snow and all three became friends, 'well.. I still think Nick has reservations about Adam though'. I was sat in my last history lesson before we broke up for the Christmas holidays, and I couldn't be more excited. Then I remembered about what Jasper had said to me a few days ago about my emotions.

"Even if you're not trying to manipulate someone's emotions, if yours are strong enough then they will have an effect on some people" as I thought about his words I tried to rein in all my excitement and turned my attention back to my teacher.

"Right class, I have a assignment that is due the day we start back at school, understand?" Mr King said as he wandered around the class room handing out pieces of paper that held the information that we needed, as he put a sheet in front of me I read the words on the page-

'Write a 2000 word essay about a significant history event that has occurred in YOUR family history.' I almost squealed as I read the print, I was bouncing up and down in my chair happily until I realise everyone in the room were staring at me, I quickly stopped and blushed hiding my face.

"Excited about the assignment are we Miss Hale?" Mr King questioned from the other side of the room. I looked up and nodded slightly still feeling quite embarrassed. The whole class started to laugh and so did I. When all the laughter died down I turned to look at Katie who had also become a really good friend recently, she was already looking at me when our eyes met.

"I'm excited to write this assignment too, my great-great-great someone lead the charge in the Battle of Hill Cane.." She said in a small voice and then carried on explaining what a hero her ancestor was, I was so caught up in the story I hadn't realised it was time to clear up, a few seconds later the bell went signalling the end of school before the holidays. I looked at Katie who had stopped talking and said to her while I quickly gathered my things.

"I really want to read what you're going to write, promise I can?" I pleaded with her, she eventually gave in, I gave her a hug and started for the door of the classroom.

"Where's our hugs?" I heard a pleading voice from behind me, I stopped in my tracks and rolled my eyes, turning around to see Blake standing there looking over dramatically sad, then I saw Adam standing beside him with the same expression. I sighed and walked over to them and lightly wrapped my arms around them both, I remembered not to squeeze.

"Have a good holiday you two" I said before walking away again. As I did I thought about how much they become really good friends and haven't been annoying me since I told them me and Nick are together. Just as I thought of his name, he was all I could think about. I hurried along the corridor, walking slightly quicker than I should have. I just wanted him close to me, I missed him. As I turned the final corner which lead to the double doors to the car lot, I suddenly crashed into what felt like a statue, I went careering towards the floor but was saved by the statue it's self. I looked up quickly to be met by the face I so longed to see, Nick.

"You alright beautiful?" He said in a husky voice, standing me up and and straightening me out. I quickly blushed at my clumsiness and looked down, then I felt a cool hand under my chin directing my face up towards his, I stared into his eyes for a second and then he kissed me gently on the lips. My whole body came alive in an instant. I could smell his wonderful scent even more, I could hear everyone's footsteps along the corridor, I could even distinguish them between our family members. Just then Nick pulled his lips away from mine and took me into a sweet embrace. I turned my head to the sound of my approaching family members, Alice, Jasper, Emmett, Bella and.. Edward. As soon as my eyes landed on Edward the most awful sounds stared to pierce through my mind, screaming, shouting, words, sounds.
