Chapter 10 - Feelings

Rosalie's POV

I has been exactly 3 weeks since Ahrianna has joined our family and I must admit 'I do love her'. I thought looking around to make sure Edward hadn't heard that, luckily he was playing with my beautiful niece. Sitting on the couch staring at the wall opposite me I began to think.

I must also admit that Ahria is absolutely drop dead gorgeous for her age of 6 though she does look to be about 17 now. Her blonde hair is longer than mine and hangs in loose curls near her waist. Her face is perfect and her body is amazing, curves in just the right places. And her scent is mind-blowingly amazing. She smells just like a field full of the most amazingly scented flowers, with a hint of richness. 'She smells Devine' I thought as my throat began to burn a little. Jasper suddenly cleared his throat from across the room making me realise he must be reading my emotions, I know how hard it must be for him being in pain. Thinking about blood 24/7 and having Ahria living under the same roof, even thinking about it made my throat blaze a little more. He must be going crazy. 'All I can smell is her amazi-' I was cut of mid-thought

"Rosalie" Jasper said gently. Trying not to attract attention, he seemed really rigid and uncomfortable. I gave him an apologetic look and a quick low 'sorry' and got up and left the room not wanting to cause him any further discomfort, I went looking for my husband. Of course I found him in the garage that could fit 6 cars, he was modifying his 'baby' as he calls it. 'It's just a jeep.' I thought to myself sighing. As I entered the garage I saw him under the truck. He had used his arm as a jack holding the car whilst he worked on the underneath with the other arm. He saw me enter and leaped up placing the car on all four wheels gently and came over to me.

"Hey babe" he said with a grin leaning in to kiss me, I quickly kissed him and pushed him away before he could wrap his arm around me.

"You're covered in grease" i stated quite harshly, looking down at my lovely white blouse to make sure he hadn't got it messy. Brushing gently at the soft silk material, I looked at him with a annoyed look. He gave me a sorry look and went back to his jeep. I walked around the garage just looking at everything, when I noticed one of the cars were missing, the family volvo. Then I recalled I hadn't seen Ahria or Nick recently, just then I heard a car engine rev and a squeal of excitement come from the driveway. I walked back through the house to the front door and stood just outside, joining Esme and Alice, who both looked extremely nervous and happy at the same time, they were watching something. Then I looked down the drive way to see the Volvo come slowly to a halt just a few meters away, looking inside the car I saw Ahria in the drivers seat and Nick in the passengers. So he was teaching her to drive, 'I guess she is going to pick that up like she she been driving her whole life, just like the piano and cooking' I thought in a sour and bitter tone.

"Now, now. Rose. It's not her fault she is a quick leaner." Edward said from behind me. I didn't even have to look at him to see that he had a grin on his face. I could hear it in his voice.

"I know" I said feeling a bit guilt about my thoughts. I started to pay more attention to the people actually in the car rather than Ahria's driving skills. Her and Nick seemed really happy, they are both laughing and smiling at each other, 'come to think if it they have been spending a lot of time together recently and they get on really well' I thought putting the puzzle together. I gasped out loud and a huge grin crossed my face.

"Shh" Edward said in my ear, hearing I has come to the conclusion they love each other! I looked towards Edward to have my suspicions confirmed by a simple nod. Esme and Alice were both staring at me after I had gasped, I simply didn't say anything just shaking my head telling them to drop it, they then turned their attentions back to Ahria who was now driving like she has been all her life. 'She really was a quick learner' I thought. Looking at how much they both were smiling in each others company I couldn't be bitter towards Ahria even if I wanted to. 'She makes my little brother happy thats all I care about.' I thought in my mind, thinking about how much I had hated Nick for joining our family, it wasn't until one day a few years ago when i suddenly realised mine and nicks pasts were very similar. We were both betrayed by the one thing in our life we loved. 'My husband to be' I winced at the memory. And 'Nick the army' he had so much passion for the army, you could tell from how he told his stories from over the seas and about his comrades, but when he was shot down, they just left him in a hospital bed to get better, which of course he didn't. From then on I had excepted Nicolas into our family and loved him like a little brother. I hated to see him so sad and lonely all the time. 'Well I guess that will be changing now' I thought, 'thanks to Ahria' I added and looked at Edward, he looked at me and nodded slightly at my thoughts and smiled. I smiled too, turning my attention to the two little-but-they-don't-know-it yet lovebirds sitting in the car.
