Chapter 8

(Tris's POV)

I get to Uriah's room and he's sitting there playing, I'm guessing one of the games Zeke created, on a tablet that was probably provided to him by the bureau. 'Hey Uri! How are ya?' I say. 'Oh hey tris, I'm good.' He says without looking up. 'Why did you decide to stay?' I ask him. He stops playing the game and looks up at me and says 'what? What do you mean? What are you talking about?' 'The doctors said you weren't going to make it before all of this other stuff happened and after my surgery when I came to see you and was talking and you started responding and it was pretty much a miracle!!!' I say. 'Oh I don't know, all I can remember is hearing someone talking to me asking me to stay and I tried moving but didn't get much use out of it.' He says. 'No Uri you did get something out of it, you proved that you were still fighting.' (If I Stay references!!) 'we'll Tris what do ya know! I've always been dauntless, always fighting my way through things!' I tell him I will see him later and go back to Tobias's apartment.
