I pushed my hair behind my ear as I tried to control my breath. "I-uh, I wanted to give the dress a second chance."
Her lips formed a smile as she looked at me expectantly. "And?"
Shaking my head, I took my steps toward the changing room I was previously occupying and muttered, "No."
She pouted her lip. "Well, come on then. Put the other dress on."
I glanced at the dressing room Neor was in and walked back into my dressing room. Very carefully I took the dress off, put it on the hanger and hung it on the hook.
With my fingers I took the next dress from the hanger, put my legs in it and pulled it up. I pulled the zipper on the back and walked out.
Samira's eyes rolled over my body, making me fidget with my fingers nervously. "Oh.my.god, Zara! Yes, yes, oui! This is it!" exclaimed Samira enthusiastically and jumped into the air. She looked at me curiously, fingers against her lips. "What do you think, Zara?"
I stood in front of the mirror. The dress was beautiful. It was a white dress with beautiful straps and a v-neck. I felt a gust of wind against my back and shivered from the cold. It had an open back and accentuated my hips after which the fabric flowed down smoothly. The fabric felt light and comfortable. My eyes stared in admiration as my fingers stroked the glittering fabric under the light.
I looked at Samira with a smile. "I'll take it."
Samira nodded triumphantly. "A wise choice." She pulled out her phone and clicked a photo. A sly grin formed her lips as she tapped her screen. "I'm going to send this to Imran."
"No, Sami!" My eyes widened as I tried to reach for her phone.
Samira's mouth left a smile as she showed me her screen. "Oops, too late!"
I let my shoulders drop and let out a sigh. Soon I heard my phone vibrate from the dressing room. I went to the dressing room and took my phone out of my bag. "Imran, hey," I answered.
I gave Samira a look as she wiggled her eyebrows.
"I saw the photo that Samira had sent me."
"Oh." I pushed a hairpiece behind my ear and bit my lip.
It sounded calm from his side. "I hope you get het dress."
I pressed the phone closer to my ear as I walked a little further. "Uhm, yes, I'm going to reserve it for our wedding day."
"Great. Can't wait to pull it off of you-" I could sense his grin from the phone.
"Imran!" I hissed in shame and felt my cheeks glow.
His laugh filled my ears, like music. "You looked beautiful, Zara. I hope you are aware of that."
I fiddled with the dress nervously. "Thank you. Are you coming to dinner with us tonight?"
"Yes, if all goes well."
I turned to see Samira tapping on her phone. Probably giving Faid a update. "Okay, me and Samira need to buy a few more things for the wedding before we go home. I'll see you tonight."
"Bye."
I hung up and walked to the dressing room. "Samira I'm going to change and then we can go."
She held up her thumb without looking up from her phone. "Sure babe."

"Samira," I muttered wide-eyed when I saw the store. She tugged impatiently at my arm. "Come on, Zara! I have to breastfeed and put Mira to sleep in half an hour. Let's not forget how Mira is when she's hungry. Faid will pull his hair out from the screams and I'd rather not have a bald husband. So hurry up!"
