November 2019

I laid lazily on the couch when I was watching my series.

My eyes rolled to the clock and I sighed.  Imran was supposed to work late today.

We saw each other every night, despite our busy schedules.  The Christmas holidays had passed and now it was hectic for Imran at work.

Imran came home after a few hours and I expected him to be tired, but he looked surprisingly cheerful and energetic.

"Hey," I said and greeted him happily with a kiss on the cheek.

"Zara."  He smiled broadly and showered me with kisses.

Laughing, I put my arms around him.  "What is it?"

"I love you and I brought you something," he muttered, lifting a bag in his hand.

"For me?"  I asked with a smile.  I pressed my lips to his cheek and took the bag from him as I walked into the living room with Imran right behind me.

I opened the bag and saw a pink rose sticking out.

"Pink means love, gratitude and appreciation," he whispered in my ear and wrapped his arms around me as I took out the rose.

Then I focused on the big box in the bag.  It was wrapped in velvet wrapping paper.

I tore away the paper and carefully opened the box.  Inside was a smaller box of chocolates, a perfume bottle and an envelope.

I leaned back on Imran and rested my head on his shoulder as he held me and watched me open the envelope.

"What is this?"  I asked, amused, as I took two tickets to the movie.

"You indicated yesterday that you really wanted to watch the movie the Witches."  He pressed his lips against my cheek.  "With those tickets we will go to the cinema tomorrow to watch the film."

"Are you serious?"  I asked enthusiastically.  I turned and met his warm gaze.

He nodded with a smile.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him toward me.  With the tip of my nose, I moved slowly over his neck and I heard his breathing change.

A grin appeared on my lips as I muttered, "And how can you be thanked for that?"

"Whatever comes to mind," I heard him reply hoarsely.

"Hmm," I muttered doubtfully as I ran my lips over his ear.  "How about a guitar lesson?"

"You played guitar?"  His voice was hoarse.

I nodded smugly as I leaned closer.  "There are five basic major chords, which you can learn first."

I brought my hand to Imran's hair and ran my fingers through his brown locks.

"Number one you must learn is the," I leaned closer and our noses stroked.  "-C major."

My lips, I pressed against his cheekbone as my fingertips brushed his hair.

Imran shivered under my touch.

I went to his jaw.  I ran one of my fingers along his jaw as I took my time.

I placed my hand on his chest and felt his pulse racing.

"Then," My lips slid over his jaw, "After you master C major," I kissed the side of his neck.  "-you must know the A major."

Imran placed his hand on my side, his fingers pressed against my skin with impatience.
