Chapter 4

It's another normal day for Dazai or so he thought, he was called to Mori's office to get the details of his next mission which is strange because it's all of a sudden and to be given another assignment when he was told his number one priority is to guard Chuuya is unexpected.

"Are you going? Isn't it too early?" – Chuuya whined to Dazai who is preparing to leave just right after bathing and feeding him. The disappointment is written all over his face, he will be alone again in that big room, he had to admit that he enjoys the young Alpha's company.

The two of them start to become comfortable with each other especially Chuuya who at first spites Dazai the most because he is his capturer. The Omega learned to trust the young Alpha to the point that he won't eat food that was not prepared by him or without him by his side. It's easy to say that Chuuya relies on him each passing day, he is more like his maid who does everything for him.

"Yes, the boss has an assignment for me" – Dazai answered while cleaning the tray of left over food "So you have to behave while I'm gone"

Chuuya tilted his head "What kind of mission is it? Is it dangerous?" – he questioned.

"I still don't know but I will be with Oda"

"Oda? Was he the Beta that you're with?"

"Yes, he is my right-hand man" – Dazai answered now fixing the bedsheets "He's my partner, the only person I trust here in this organization"

That made Chuuya pout his lips "Y-you mean you two are always together?"

"Not really because there are some missions that the boss only trusted me to do without him, though I can say we see each other often because my apartment is next to his apartment. You know, I couldn't ask for any other partner, I trust him with all my life" – he answered not paying much attention to the Omega's facial expression who is sitting on the bed as he is too busy doing his daily routine.

Again Chuuya pouts "Is he your mate?" – he bravely asked.

Dazai pauses at what he is doing and looks at the small male sitting on the bed "Why would you even think that or ask such question?"

The ginger looks away with a red tint on his cheeks "N-nothing, I'm just curious that's all. I can't believe a suicidal maniac like you can get a mate nor interested in having one"

Dazai chuckled "No, he's not, he is just my friend"

Chuuya's already red face turns redder when he hears his laugh, it's like music to him, and at the same time he felt relief knowing that Oda is just his friend. 

Dazai just finished everything and is about to leave.

"You will come back right?" – the Omega asked.

"Of course, you said you will teach me that card game" – the Alpha answered and he opens the door of the penthouse "I will be leaving now, see you later Chuuya" – he said.

"I will be waiting D-Da- Alpha" – he tried his best to say his name but failed to.

As soon as the door closes Chuuya waited for a couple of seconds before grabbing the pillow next to him and he lays down his back on the mattress hugging the said pillow then he rolls over and over like crazy, he's squealing with a red face "He called me by my name!" – he screams with a joyful tone then continues to roll over and over again with a big smile on his face "But I'm so stupid! I didn't call him by his name!" – changing his tone quickly like a lunatic. He can't wait to see the young Alpha again later that day. The ginger doesn't know when he started to feel that way but whenever he sees him his heart is hammering inside his chest accompanied by unexplained euphoria. Unbeknownst to him, Dazai is still standing on the other side of the door and he can hear him which made him smile before walking away.
