Chapter 54

"Father, there's something I needed to ask you" – said Atsushi while standing in the middle of the Port Mafia leader's office.

"What is it son?"

"It's about Akutagawa"

A smile creeps on Mori's face "What about him?"

"Some mafia members took him to the laboratory and started doing horrible things to him"

"What horrible things?"

"You know what I'm saying, they said you told them to give Akutagawa that drug!"

"Yes, I ordered them to do that" – Mori answered blatantly.

That shocked Atsushi "But why?!"

"It is his own volition, he wanted to be strong"

With a worried tone the Omega questioned the Alpha "Strong? But father he is terminally ill"

Mori saw the eyes of Atsushi filled with worry, it is the same as Chuuya's eyes for Dazai. Somehow that sight ignites anger and jealousy inside him "Why all of you have those eyes, why that person doesn't?" – he mumbled with sad tone.

"I'm sorry what?" – the young Omega asked.

"Nothing" – the Alpha said then with his usual menacing tone "I didn't know that you worry for him that much, perhaps you're starting to like him?"

"N-no!" – Atsushi denied with red face "It's just that, it's not right to torture someone"

"It's not torturing if he is the one who asked for it"

The conversation between the father and son was interrupted when the door to the office opens and the lady executive enters the room.

"Kouyou-kun, I guess you have a very urgent thing to say that you forgot to knock" – said Mori.

"I need to speak to you" – the woman replied.

"What is it?"

"Alone"

Atsushi took the hint "I-I will go now" – he bows down and left.

As soon as the door closes, the lady walks towards the man sitting behind the oak table "It is suspicious when you tasked me to attend the meeting on Hawaii in your behalf"

The Alpha looks up to his remaining executive "Ah, so you're done with it"

"I know what you asked that subordinate"

"What do you mean Kouyou?"

"I don't have time to play dumb with you! How dare you give an order to kill Chuuya's son, to kill Fumiya! I don't care if you are the boss, I will never forgive what you did!" – she said and pulls out her katana then pointed it on the man's face, it is just inches away.

Staring at the lady while a sword is held in between his eyebrows, the man laughs "I see, that subordinate must've failed his mission to eliminate that brat"

"Yes, I've killed him" – she said with disdainful look in her eyes "And now, it's your turn to die!"

"Oh really?" – he scoffs "Does this mean that you are revolting against me now? Have you forgotten something?"

That question almost made the lady choke, whatever it was, it made her shudder.

At the Armed Detective Agency's secret base.

"Who is he, Kunikida-san?" – asked Tanizaki as he looks at the man with rusty colored hair.

The said man is looking around the room and there he sees a very familiar face.
