"What happened?" – Kunikida  asked in a demanding tone.

Chuuya who is now sitting on a chair and obviously distraught could barely look at the man questioning him "I-I..."

"Do you want to say something to us?"

"Kunikida, I don't think that you should be asking him right now" – Dazai said while crouching down next to the ginger and holding both of his hands.

Tanizaki is kinda confused as to why the other Alpha is acting all worried and caring for the Mafioso, since when did they become that close? Could it be because they are both from Port Mafia?

Ignoring his partner, he commands with a stern and louder voice "Answer me!"

"Kukinida!" – Dazai called out and was about to stand up to confront the man but he stops when the Omega starts to speak up.

"I-I've seen him taken away" – Chuuya answered in a feeble tone while looking down "I tried to help him but I couldn't, I wasn't strong enough against him"

The leader of the Armed Detective Agency questioned aggressively "Who is him? Tell us!"

That question from the blonde Beta almost choked the Omega, he gasps as he tightly closes his fists "It was... It was Akutagawa"

"What?" – Dazai was surprised.

"Akutagawa? You mean the black dog of Port Mafia?" – Tanizaki exclaimed "How did the Port Mafia know about Atsushi-kun's existence?"

"I knew it, their leader must've taken an interest on Atsushi-kun when he saw him at Suribachi city that day" – Kunikida said "So this is part of your mission then?"

"Mission?" – Dazai repeated "What mission?"

"I know that our new member here can answer that question, his real reason why he reluctantly agreed to join the detective agency"

Confused Tanizaki asked "Are you saying that he was sent by Mori to capture Atsushi-kun?"

"I'm not!" – Chuuya quickly defended "I swear I didn't know that he asked Akutagawa to take Atsushi"

"Are you still going to lie? You and I know something that you are not telling this group" – the blonde man said with a challenging and serious tone.

"Kunikida, what are you talking about?" – Dazai asked in an angry tone as stands up, he is done with the way he questioned Chuuya "He already told you he is not involved in the abduction"

"Yeah, I don't think that he has something to do with this" – Tanizaki chimed in "I mean, sure at first I don't trust him but after all those things he did for us... well... I can say that he is not capable of doing such a thing... because it wouldn't make any sense, right?" – he added in a low tone. He is thinking that if it's planned from the day he joined the detective agency, losing his ability in the process is too much in exchange.

"He only did that for us to trust him, for us to lower our guards around him" – the Beta answered.

"How can you say for sure that he knows something about it? Do you have any proof? It could be an act done by Mori himself after he saw Atsushi-kun" – Yosano joined in the conversation.

Chuuya on the other hand could not believe how the other member of the agency defended him agaisnt the accusation. Meanwhile, Ranpo is silently listening in the corner of the room while Naomi and Kyouka were both sent back to the city with Kenji who needed emergency care after being beaten up.

Kunikida pushes his eyeglasses up "Then he should have a better explanation about meeting up with Mori last night despite the strict order of the ministry for him not to get in contact with any member of the mafia, especially the leader"
