Chapter 60

"The leader is dead, who will lead us now?" - asked one of the subordinates who just arrived with his platoon.

"The Port Mafia is doomed" - said the other referring to the same scenario when the previous boss died, it ignited the war between illegal groups who wanted the Port Mafia's wealth and take over Yokohama.

"Who will be our leader now?"

Everyone murmured amongst themselves until one of them suggested "It should be his first-rank executive, right?"

They all look at Chuuya.

"But he's an Omega, how can he lead us? The Port Mafia never had an Omega as the leader"

"His son is an Alpha! It should be his son!" - one of them pointed to the young brunette in the ginger's arms.

Chuuya gasps "No... I don't want my son to be..." - he mumbled as he tightened his embrace to his sleeping son "Fumiya will never be..."

The argument of the subordinates continues, while on the other hand, Ranpo speaks up "Dazai-kun, I know that you still remember when I once said to you, that you are not for the Armed Detective Agency, that you will not last long in our organization"

Only with those words from Ranpo, he understood what the Beta means "I know, that's why before we came here I already made my decision" - he said with a stoic tone.

The brunette continues still with dark eyes "Anyone who disobeys me, will have to pay with their life"

Kouyou is the first one to bows down to which everyone follow suit to show their respect to the new leader, they all bow down to the Alpha and his Omega carrying their son.

The ginger's eye widened upon seeing all of the scary mafia goons kowtowing and terrified by the self-announced leader.

Kouyou graciously looks up and asks "What is your first order, boss?"

"First, no one is to speak of what happened today, anyone caught doing so will be sawn apart limbs by limbs, am I understood?"

In sync, they all answered "Yes, boss"

"Second, you will respect my Omega and my son as you do to me"

"Yes, boss"

"Lastly, my rules are absolute, anyone dares to oppose or disobey me in the slightest, will immediately be executed"

"Yes, boss"

"Now, go back to your original positions"

Everyone followed and they all went back along with Kouyou, but before leaving, the lady in the kimono looked back at Dazai and Chuuya then gave them a bitter-sweet smile.

After being left, Chuuya turns around to face Dazai "What are you thinking, taking on the responsibility of being the new Port Mafia leader?!" - he exclaimed.

With the light returning to the Alpha's eyes, he smiles "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing"

"No... you don't understand, I don't want to be part of the Port Mafia anymore, I don't want you or Fumiya to get involved with that criminal group" - the ginger Omega starts to stifle and tears edge at the corner of his eyes.
