Chapter 39

The wind blows kindly that day while the sun shines brightly and the sound of the cars resonates all throughout the busy city of Yokohama.

"So this is the target" - Akutagawa said as he stares at the photo given to him by the boss while standing at the top of a building overviewing the city.

Not far from where the Alpha is standing, his secretary speaks "Akutagawa-senpai, should we accompany you? I heard that the target is highly guarded by other ability users"

"I will do this mission alone"

"But senpai-"

"I said I will do it alone! I don't need your help!" - the man growled "I will show that person I'm more capable than what he thinks of me" - he added as he refer to his former mentor Dazai.

He jumps off the high building and with his Alpha strength he landed on both feet unscathed, he is ready to capture the said target.

Everyone is looking at the executive who is highly anxious upon hearing what Atsushi said.

"What is it Chuuya-san?" - the young Omega asked after being interrupted.

Dazai looks at Chuuya intently also curious as to why the ginger suddenly flipped out. On the other hand, the small male doesn't know what to do or how to explain himself why he called for the boy "A-ahmn..." - he mumbled while everyone are all ears waiting for him to say something.

Atsushi tilted his head "Chuuya-san?"

The scene didn't last long when the door of the office opens.

"We're home" - Tanizaki greeted the group, with him is his adopted sister Naomi.

All the attention was transferred to the orange-haired Alpha.

Being in the same orphanage before it was attacked, Kenji is the first one to greet the girl with long dark hair "Naomi-san, long time no see"

Naomi smiles "Kenji-kun, it's nice to see you again"

Everyone starts to gather to welcome the new girl to which Chuuya sigh in relief but Dazai remained focused on him, he knows there's something the ginger is hiding from him that he needs to know.

The brunette walks to the ginger to confront him about it "Why is he? Did he?" - Chuuya is panicking inside his head when he notices the Alpha charging toward him.

Naomi comes to Dazai interrupting him "Thank you for saving us" - she said.

Being taken out of his own thoughts Dazai responded "You're welcome, just doing our job".

"I and the rest of the girls could not thank you enough" - Naomi added then she notices the ginger "You must be the other person who came to save us, what is your name?"

Chuuya smiles meekly "I'm Nakahara Chuuya" - he answered.

Naomi holds on to his hands closing them between her hands "Thank you so much" - she said with a sincere tone "I hope we could be friends"

In Naomi's mind, all the people she became friends with have redheads, seeing Chuuya has the same hair color, she somehow feels at ease and hopes that she could be close to him too. Tanizaki could only furrow his eyebrows at the sight of his sister being nice to the Port Mafia executive.

After a couple of minutes, Atsushi asked the other Omega "Chuuya-san, just now, what is it that you are about to tell me?" - he asked.

He can feel that Dazai is looking at him and listening, Chuuya cautiously answers "It's nothing important, I was just thinking..." - he hesitates to continue, or probably he is making something inside his head as an excuse for freaking out not long ago "I was about... if you want I can teach you how to use your ability" - it is what he came up.
