Chapter 13

It was around school summer vacation when Sakura the youngest of all the children found a young boy lying on the ground under the hot sunny day not far from the playground where she and her brothers are playing, she immediately calls her older brothers. Kyosuke and Katsumi are quick to come and they both carry the said boy, they brought him to the restaurant where the owner urgently helps them.

After cleaning the mysterious boy, they lay him on the bed.

"He should be fine, if he wakes up you can feed him the curry. Call me if anything happens" – the shopkeeper said as he pointed the tray of food at the bedside table before living the youngsters to tend to his restaurant downstairs.

Being young and innocent the five children were just staring at the boy with very peculiar hair color and have a very small physique making him look like a girl.

"What do you think happened to him?" – Yu asked breaking the silence "He looks like someone beat him up badly"

"Maybe he got into a fight?" – Katsumi guessed.

"That sounded awful" – Sakura commented.

"What are we going to do once he wakes up?" – Katsumi asked.

"The shopkeeper said we should feed him" – Shinji said sheepishly.

Katsumi pouted "What if he is a bad person? An enemy spy, like those people we watch on TV!"

"I don't think that he is bad, he looks like an ordinary boy, a child just like us" – Yu answered.

"Kyosuke-niichan, what do you think?" – Sakura asked.

"I think we should wait for big brother and asked him what to do next" – Kyosuke answered as he looks at the left wrist of the mysterious kid, it has a dot, a colorless dot "Although he is away for weeks"

"What is that?" – Katsumi asked and all of them look.

"I don't know" – Kyosuke answered as he tries to rub it away but unsuccessful.

All four of his siblings also tried to rub the mark and see if they can remove it thinking that maybe it is some kind of dirt that was not removed when they bathe him. Doing so wakes the young boy which made all of them back off from the bed.

"He's awake!" – Katsumi exclaimed.

He saw an unfamiliar ceiling of what seemed to be an old apartment, he raised his left hand and looks at his mark that not long ago something or someone was rubbing it "W-where am I? W-what happened to me?" – he mumbled inside his head.

Kyosuke, being the eldest of five, he walks back towards the bed "How are you feeling?" – he asked.

The mysterious guess looks at direction of the person who asked it, he sees a young boy with brown hair and glasses on his forehead while behind him are four more children. He was so shocked to see other kids, so he quickly sits up as he picks up a pillow near him and hides behind it.

Sakura walks forward "What happened to you? What is your name?" – she asked innocently.

The young girl didn't get an answer from him, he instead gave her a glaring look.

"Hey! She's asking you a question!" – Katsumi called out.

Shinji and Yu also glared at the boy with striking hair color.

"Stop it, everyone, maybe he's just afraid" – Sakura quickly defended.

Day pass by, the young boy started to get acquainted with the five children but he never said his name or say a single word to them so they all assumed that he has some kind of speech impediment as all he can make are inaudible sounds.
