Olivia's POV
I open my eyes, attempting to roll over, when I notice Spencer's arms securely wrapped around me. I trace along the freshly-inked 'SJ' on the inside of my ring finger. I can't believe we actually did it. Two weeks ago, I officially became Mrs. James!
"Simone, this is the one. I'm sure of it." My face lights up as I imagine Spencer seeing me for the first time in this dress. It's simple yet elegant. The princess v-neck lace top with the open back gives it a little twist on your traditional wedding dress. The lace continues down to my waist, where the dress is more fitted, giving it a modern, meets sexy look. Finally, the silk train is to die for. The moment I saw this dress, I knew.
"I agree, Liv. Spencer is going to be speechless, and with the snow covering the trees and the ground, the photos in this dress will be breathtaking." Simone beams, and I'm not sure who is more excited.
I try, to no avail, to contain my nerves on the drive back to the cabin. A few tears invade my eyes as I think about the significance of this cabin. It holds some of the happiest memories Spencer and I have ever had, and I can't believe he thought to bring us back here for this next step.
We pull up, and almost as if Mother Nature knew what was about to happen, the snow has stopped. I open the door promptly greeted by my little man in his adorable tuxedo.
"Mommy! Me and daddy set everything up in the backyard. He said maybe we can go in the hot tub after we get married." He jumps up and down from excitement.
I glance over at the hot tub where I shared my first kiss with Spencer, and for once, I agree with him. We definitely owe the hot tub another visit, but Jace will not be present for that little adventure. I smile down at him before leaning in to kiss his forehead. "We'll see, J-man."
Simone comes running over, tugging me toward the back room. "Let's go, Liv; we have some work to do!" She exclaims. It appears she's taken over the bridezilla role.
"Jordan is so excited to marry you guys; he won't shut up about it!"
"Jordan?" I question.
"Oh yeah, when Spencer called to ask for his help, he started looking up someone who would be available to marry you two on such short notice, and then he had the genius idea to do it himself. One short online course, and he was good to go."
I begin to laugh so hard that I cry. The men in my life never fail to amaze me.
"Not to mention, the fewer people, the better since you and Spencer are under the ridiculous impression that you'll be able to keep this little stunt a secret."
My stomach churns a little as I think about our parents finding out before we get the chance to tell them. I can't focus on that right now. It's mine and Spencer's big day, and that's all I care about.
After about an hour, Simone has worked wonders with my curls, and my makeup is genuinely stunning. I slip on my dress and steal one final glance in the mirror. I can't believe this is actually happening. I will myself not to ruin all of Simone's hard work with my brewing tears. I hear a knock on the door before Simone walks in with my bouquet.
"You ready?" She smiles at me.
I inhale before returning a smile of my own. "It's time for me to marry the love of my life."
"Liv, I am so incredibly happy for you guys. I can't think of more deserving people. I gotta get out there because I double as your maid of honor and photographer." We both laugh. "However, your little man is here to walk you down the aisle." Simone moves to the side, revealing Jace, who is smiling from ear to ear.
