"Voi-la!" Your friend jokes, backing away from the monster of a machine he'd been working on, "Do you like it?"

Harry's eyes linger on you for a couple of moments . He waited, clearly expectant of a reply when all you could manage to do was stand awkwardly.

It had been almost two months since Harry Osborn had found out your secret identity.

Yes, you were Spider-Man.

Or Spider-Woman.

You hadn't exactly named yourself properly but Spider-Woman didn't have a ring to it so you generally stuck with Spider-Man.

Over the course of these two months, it'd been nice having someone to talk to about the craziness of it all.

Turns out Harry was a better friend than you thought, he didn't even display signs of suddenly turning into a raging goblin.

That was the only thing you left out when telling him about your whole story.

You didn't exactly want to plant any ideas in his head that could make him descend into madness but staring at this machine you wondered if you'd accidentally started the process already.

"What is it exactly?" You ask nervously, hoping that it didn't have anything to do with human enhancements or finding a cure to an ancestral disease.

"It's a time machine!"

"A what?" You spit, completely taken aback by the notion and the fact that Harry was so calm and happy about it.

"A time machine." He says slowly, mocking you, "Like.. a machine that sends you back in time. Duh."

When you didn't respond, Harry continued talking enthusiastically about his contraption, explains how he finished off a project that his father shut down and how it had the power to take you back in time by using an object. Something to do with your suit, you weren't really listening.

You smile at him as he rants on about the advancements of it all and how he tested it the other day and apparently it worked well.

"What?" He grins back with his eyes bright, "What're you laughing at?"

He rested an arm on the machine and you had to admit, it looked like it might actually work.

"Nothing," You reply, feeling as if you should change the subject, "What's this for then? Like, why have you suddenly been inspired to fix it."

"Don't you see." He scoffs, "This isn't for me."

"What do you mean?" You ask, your brows frowning in confusion.

"This is for you." He says, not meeting your eye contact, "You're always on about your Spider-Friends and I thought maybe you'd want to see them again."

"How?" You ask, a little shocked at Harry's generosity, "This is a time machine, not a multiverse machine."

"I'm going to send you back to moments before you were taken away by the spell," He says, giving you a kind and awkward grin, "And then you'll be taken back to, if I remember correctly, Peter 1's universe?"

"Yeah that's it." You say, barely able to form words.

This was your chance.

And this time, you weren't going to let it pass.
