After you'd explained the whole story to Peter 1 he seemed overwhelmed.

Well, it wasn't the whole story. You'd left out a lot of crucial details as to not alarm him.

All he knew is that you were his friends from the future and also from other universes that fought multiversal villains together and met a divine being with.

He placed his hands on his head and took a few paces backwards.

"No way." Peter 1 mutters, "That.. That... You're messing with me."

Okay, it was a lot to comprehend. It was fair enough that he didn't believe you.

"Well how can we prove it to you that we're Spider-Man too? Did you not feel the tingle?" You add, trying to make him understand.

"Yes but.." He strengthens his voice, trying not to seem weak or scared, "You know when else the senses tingle... when there is danger."

"We're not danger though." Peter 3 rolls his eyes, "If we were danger don't you think we would've hurt you already?"

Peter 1 shrugged, "You never know.."

"Does this prove it?" You ask, sending a web flying past his head and letting it splatter a pattern across the wall behind you.

When Peter 1's expression didn't change, you try again.

"This?" You ask, sticking your feet to the wall and hanging off it horizontally.

"That's actually so cool." Peter 2 admits, "Why haven't I thought of doing that before?"

"It's more fun that crawling I have to admit." You say, walking up and down the wall but still horizontally.

"Let me have a go." Peter 3 says, joining you on the wall, "Woahhh that makes me feel kind of dizzy."

"Yeah it's like hanging on a sofa upside-down." You say but when you glance back at Peter 1, you realise how easily you got distracted.

"So, you believe us?" You say, jumping off the wall to stand beside your new friend.

"Sort of." He shrugs, "Why did you need to speak to me then?"

Peter 3 shrugged in return, he was still messing around on the wall, "Eh, we just wanted to see if you were Peter 1, we missed him."

"Well," The Peter 1 lookalike pointed out, "I am a lot like the Peter you described. The only difference could be the time. Like.. the machine could've sent you earlier and then.. you met me but younger than you're used to."

You consider his response. In all honesty, he did seem correct. Besides, if he wasn't the Peter 1, he was surely close enough to him.

"So, you want to join in the gang? Help us out?" Peter 3 suggests.

A grin spreads across Peter 1's face, he probably was just happy to be wanted.

"Of course."

You all smile each other. The four were back together again.
