In the end, nagsorry naman ng matino si Kangaroo. Buti nalang rin mabait si Brent.
“Kangaroo...” Tinawag ko siya at tinuro ko ang streetfood stand sa gilid. “Kwek-kwek...”
He glanced at me. Then, he parked his car aside. It means, it‘s okay, right? Yes...
“Ngayon lang muna.” sabi niya bago kami lumabas sa kotse.
I mentally rolled my eyes.
“I kinda missed this.” he said with a smile while looking at the kwek-kwek.

I still remember the first time I made him try this. During that time, I‘ve never even imagine that I‘ll grow fond of him because he‘s a btch. Pero ngayon kami na... you really never know what will happen in the future.
“Ahh~” aniya habang may masayang ngiti sa labi.
Tinanggap ko nalang, kawawa naman. Mukhang good mood pa naman, bakit na naman kaya?
He quickly wiped my lips using his thumb before I could even do it myself. Sige na, pagbigyan. If he likes taking care of me, then I‘ll let him. If that makes him happy... even if I may look like a brat who couldn‘t even manage herself! Ugh.
“Let‘s go inside the car. Pinagpapawisan ka na.” aniya habang pinupunasan ang noo ko.
“Kangaroo... maanghang ‘yung nakuha kong sauce...” I slightly stuck my tongue out, hoping to ease the spiciness in my tongue.
“Damn...” he muttered. Hinila niya ako papunta sa kotse. Kinuha niya ang bottled water doon at pina-inom sa akin. “There‘s no convenience store nearby to buy milk...”
“It‘s fine...” I said. I can still handle it anyway.
“Okay na?” tanong niya. I nodded. He gave me a peck on the temple and ruffled my hair.
He gently wiped the sweat in my forehead and neck. I stared at him while he was gladly doing the things I can do myself.
Well, I admit kinda enjoy being spoiled by him as well...
“Thanks...”
“Anything for Lili...” malambing niyang wika.
Kinuha niya ‘yung baso ng kwek-kwek sa akin at ipinalit ‘yung kaniya.
Bwisit. Bakit ba nauso ‘yung maanghang na pagkain? Why are there foods I can‘t eat? I can never accept this!
Afterwards, bumalik na kami sa Marvel. Papunta kami sa groceria galing sa parking lot, huminto ako nung may napansin akong kumpulan sa park na malapit dito.
“Ano ‘yun?” tanong ko kay Kangaroo.
“Baka may nagpupustahan.” aniya.
Oh! Talaga?
Kangaroo chuckled. “I knew it would pique your attention. Mahilig ka pa naman makipustahan...” aniya.
