“Bakit hindi ka pumunta?!” iyan agad ang bungad ni Shin sa akin nang sagutin ko ang tawag niya.
Siguro katatapos lang ng laban. Ngayon lang naman ako hindi pumunta ah! He‘s so petty, seriously. Sabagay naman, apat lang kasi kami tapos mawawala pa ang isa. I‘m sure they had quite a hard time, at least. Haha!
“Hindi ako pinayagan ni Kianna!” sabi ko.
“Tangina, isa ring alipin amputa.”
“The first thing I‘ll do when the time that you become Erin‘s slave comes is make you kneel in front of me!” I retorted.
“Erin... Tss. That will never happen.” he said. I could feel the bitterness in his tone.
“By the way, I‘m on the way to the base.” sabi ko, para maiba na rin ang usapan. Baka mamaya malungkot na naman si gago. Haha!
Pagdating ko sa base, nadatnan kong pirming naka-upo sina Xander at Shin sa couch habang may mga nakaharap na vodka sa table. Meanwhile, Trev is in his table, facing the desktop, working.
“Diyan na pala si Junggoy...” sambit ni Xander. Sarap niya upakan, sa totoo lang.
“Did something in particular happened? Lili said she went home with you...” tanong kaagad ni Trev.
“Oh, is she reporting to you now?” wika ko na may kasamang pang-aasar. “But it seems like she didn‘t mention that we were attacked by gangsters on our way.”
Isang malakas na dabog ang umagaw ng atensiyon namin—nina Xander at Shin pati na rin ang iba pang nakatambay na underlings dito.
“She wasn‘t hurt! Calm down!” mabilis kong saad. “Pink Haven came to our aid. Khali isn‘t hurt! ‘Yun pa ba?!”
Trev is well aware that Khali is a good fighter but he still wouldn‘t let Khali get hurt. Gago ba siya? Syempre kapag may laban, may galos. He‘s so unfair to the point I‘d pity the enemies.
“I know... it‘s just... hearing about it infuriates me.” aniya na tila kumalma na.
Binalik niya ang tingin sa screen ng computer. Lumapit ako doon at sinilip kung anong ginagawa niya.
Pinapanood niya pala ‘yung mga CCTV footages na nakalap namin sa UGA noong time na nagpakita si Shadow. Dahil kasi sa Bloody Tournament naudlot ang paghahanap namin sa kaniya—I mean, paghahanap ni Trev sa kaniya.
Because I already found Shadow...
As I‘ve said, Shadow is the answer to my problems and so as Trevor. Trevor once gave up. But now he‘s looking for her again because of his agreement with Saber Tan.
I know he will never turn over Shadow to Saber if he found out that Khali is Shadow. Siya nga ang dahilan kung bakit tinutulungan niya si Saber maghanap eh.
I know... I know that he loves Khali but...
