Pababa ako sa hagdan, nakita ko sila nakatambay sa sala. Nakapambahay sila at at home na at home. Dito mags-sleep over si Kianna, while Kangaroo already moved here this morning. Seryoso pala talaga siya na lilipat. Hays.
Lumapit ako sa likod ng couch kung saan nakaupo ‘yung nagtatampong kangaroo.
“Mm?” He gave me a sulky side glance.
“Matulog ka na.” sabi ko. I leaned down and hugged him from behind.
Magiging busy na naman kasi sila bukas. Sunud-sunod ang laban. He needs to rest.
“Why are you hugging me?” he suddenly asked.
Huh??
“Because I want to.” I answered. He seems really upset so I gave him a peck on the cheeks to soothe him.
“Why are you kissing me?” tanong na naman niya.
“Because I want to...” I said, a little annoyed now.
“Tsk!” Dinampot niya ‘yung throw pillow tapos binato niya ng malakas si Kevin. Nagulat ito inis na tinignan kami.
“Tangina! Bakit pati ako damay?!” inis na sigaw niya. Tinapunan niya ako ng masamang tingin. “Because I love you! That‘s the fcking answer that he wants to hear. Stupid! Get out of my sight, you two!”
Kahit kailan talaga napaka-ingay nito.
“You get out of my house.” baling ko naman.
“Matulog ka na.” pag-uulit ko. Tinapik ko si Kangaroo sa balikat. Hindi niya ako pinansin. The second time, hinampas ko na siya ng malakas kaya tinapunan niya ako ng masamang tingin.
“Akyat.” utos ko. Padabog siyang tumayo at umakyat. Sumunod ako agad.
“Sorry na... I was just kidding awhile ago.” panimula ko.
Nagtampo ba naman. Nagbibiro lang naman ako kanina.
“You only have two wishes left.” I said.
Nawala ang ngiti niya at sinimangutan ako na parang bata. Nagsalubong ang makakapal na kilay niya habang tinatapunan ako ng masamang tingin.
“You didn‘t say that because you want to?” he asked in a sulky tone.
“I want to.”
“Then why did you count it as a wish?” inis na tanong niya.
“Fine, edi wag.” sabi ko.
“That‘s not the problem here! You only said it because you thought I wished for it.” giit niya.
Sakto tapos na ‘yung ikot ng Ferris Wheel. Nauna na siyang bumaba. Pero kahit nagtatampo siya, kinuha niya pa rin ang kamay ko at inalalayang bumaba.
Hanggang makauwi kami sinisimangutan niya ako. Hays.
Nagbibiro lang naman ako. I just felt a little awkward because I‘m not used to it. Wala naman kasing mahilig magsabi ng I love you sa family namin.
