Chapter 4

"Kailan break mo, anak?" my mom asked me while cooking for breakfast.

"Hindi ko alam, my. Why?" I asked her back. She's now preparing our food on the table.

"Let's go out,"

"What do you mean, my?"

"Bonding tayo!" she squealed happily. This is rare... ever since my dad left she drowned herself to work.

"Saan?" I was just looking at her eating, she looked up probably thinking.

"I don't know, anak. Saan ba maganda puntahan?" she was still thinking and I just chuckled, she's so precious.

"I'll head out first," I kissed the top of her head and leave the apartment. As soon as I reached the door I saw Aria standing there.

"Hey," I greeted her. Her eyes was so puffy, parang galing siyang umiyak.

"What's wrong?" I said with a worried voice. She was just starring at me and I looked at my watch, it's still early but I need to catch up sa jeep.

"Hey, I'm going to be late if I'll stay longer. I'm sorry, love. Go inside first, mom is there, go eat."

"Sige, Salamat," she said almost whispering but I can still hear it. I tapped her back to assure her that I'm always with her and she responded to me with a smile.

Aria's probably back at her issues again.

I'll take care of her, don't worry. Focus sa stdy mna ank. I'll update you.

I attended to our classes and Aria's eyes were still on my mind, hindi na ako naka focus masyado sa mga discussion, our prof was having a quiz, and luckily na perfect ko parin.

To: Mom

How is she?

I changed her contact name, para kasing childish ang 'Mother Land of the sea'.

From: Mom

Hndi sya okay.

I just sighed, hindi ko alam ano ang nangyari ni Aria. She went so much na, since we were still kids she was... the least favorite nila yayi. And now I heard her boyfriend cheated, and gulo.

To: Mom

School. Why?

Hindi ko na napansin ang next text ni mom, next subject na kasi namin. Shenela was waiting for me, and she's eating ice cream! traidor talaga!
