"Good morning," Warden greeted me.
I didn't notice that I fell asleep in bed, I can vividly recall falling asleep in my chair. I look at Warden who is preparing us breakfast, he probably ordered for us.
Us.
"What is this?" I said coldly, pointing to the meal. He remained still, and I could see he was petrified when I asked him a question.
"What are you doing, Eng. Koh?" I questioned one again. "Dra. Ysal, I previously instructed you to call me Warden."
He glances at me after I exhaled loudly. When I instructed him to eat, he sat down right away. Right now, all we can hear is how our spoon and fork made contact with the platter.
I went to the toilet right after I finished eating to freshen up, expecting Warden to leave as I finished, but as they say, expect the unexpected.
"I'm surprised you're still here, Eng. Koh," he was just sitting at the small table, the plates were gone, he had presumably contacted the hotel to have the plates cleaned up.
"Can we talk, Gwianna?" he asked, still looking at the floor. "About the building? Sure."
"Get... change first," he stated this while staring at my towel and then averting his gaze.
Pumasok muna ako sa kwarto para magbihis, I'm wearing white trousers with a black shirt inserted and a brown blazer, partners with a flat sandal.
"What about the building?" I asked while drying my hair using the towel since there is no blower here, he was still in the same position.
"Why aren't you using a blower?" he asked. "Why are you shifting the subject?" I said, arching one brow at him. "As for the blower, there isn't one here."
He called someone on his phone asking for a blower and I was confused by his move. "What are you doing?" I ask.
5 minutes passed and he didn't answer me, and someone knocks at our door and the manager was holding three blowers, "I'm sorry, Eng. Koh." She said. Warden just gave her a slight nod and gestured her to get back to work.
"Here," he says, handing me three blowers, which I take because I didn't see his movement coming. "Why did you let the hotel buy a brand-new blower, Eng. Koh?" the blowers were still at the boxes.
"Don't worry, my mom doesn't mind three blowers," he casually said. I blinked three times because I didn't get what he was saying.
"Your parents own this Hotel, am I right?" he went back to the chair and I opened the one blower. "Thanks by the way."
I blew my hair to dry and Warden was just watching me do it, he approached me and held on to the blower. "What are you doing, again, Eng. Koh?"
