Chapter Sixteen

Dustin's POV

It's early morning when we arrive at the hotel. I gently nudge Daisy awake and she slowly stretches and yawns as she sits up. We both walk out and everyone is slowly waking up and heading out to the hotel. Jason again has already acquired our rooms and hands us our keys. As we are grabbing our bags, we see Colin and his crew walk up.

"Good morning guys, I would like you to meet my cousin Steve and his friend James."

"Nice to meet you." Jason chimes in.

"Nice to meet you too." Steve adds.

"Glad we can help." James says as he walks up to the group.

"They used to be a part of my team until they decided to leave me for the beach and sun."

"It was calling and we got a better offer." James chuckles.

"Yeah, whatever."

"Still salty about that?" Steve asks.

"Damn right, you were my best."

"Alright, I have plans to take Daisy to Disney today. She has never been and I would like to give her that, so let's get moving." I mumble as I pick up our bags and head into the hotel.

"OOo, can we go too?" I hear Amber ask.

"Whatever you want, babe." Elijah answers.

I look at Elijah with a smirk and he just looks at me and shrugs his shoulders. I will have to ask him about that later. I can see Daisy with the biggest smile as she looks at her friend and I think I see a little hint of a blush on Amber's cheeks. I think they look good together but they have been friends since they were kids and I know they don't want to mess that up. That's a discussion for later.

"Okay then, we will be headed to Disney with you. I don't think they would try anything at a busy amusement park but it could be the best place to try something so we will all go." Colin says sternly.

"Way to ruin a fun day." I pout.

"Don't worry about anything. We will be watching. You enjoy the day. You won't even know we are there."

"Alright, everyone head up to your rooms and anyone with us, we will meet down here in an hour."

"I think I will hang out here. I will arrange transportation for you. Tomorrow we need to be at the arena at two, so everyone be ready." Jason says.

"I think I will hang back and rest. You all have a good time." Jack adds.

"Me too. I'm not big on the whole Disney thing." Sam mutters.

"Too bad, we are going to have a blast. I love that place." Elijah smiles.

"Most magical place on earth. Amber says as she bounces on her feet.

"I'm so excited! I have always wanted to go. My parents never could afford to go, and Scott said we were too old. He always had an excuse for anything I wanted to do." Daisy smiles from ear to ear and her eyes dance with joy.

I love to see the excitement in her eyes and will do whatever it takes to keep it there. Once she starts talking about him again that light fades and my blood starts to boil. I need to do whatever I can to make her forget about him too. The four of us along with our body guards had made it out front as our uber arrived. We all climbed in the van and headed off to see the mouse. I could see the excitement just radiating off of her and it made my heart happy. She couldn't stop talking the whole way. We finally arrived and as she stepped out of the van and laid her eyes on those gates, they lit up and I don't think her smile could get any bigger. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her cheek.
