Chapter Twenty Nine

Daisy's POV

I woke up to pounding on the door.

"Wake up, rabbits! We have stopped for lunch. If you're hungry, you better get moving!" Sam yells through the door.

"We will be out in a bit." I answer. Rolling over I start caressing Dustin's face and softly kiss his lips. He stirs a little and wraps his arms around me as he pulls me underneath him.

"Mmmm, I like waking up like this."

"We need to get dressed if we want lunch."

"I'd rather feast on you." He starts kissing down my neck as he heads towards my shoulders and my stomach lets out a loud growl.

"Hmmhmm, I guess someone is really hungry."
"Haahaa, I am actually."

"Alright then, I guess we need to get up and meet everyone."
We both get up and get dressed then head out. Everyone had already gotten off the bus and headed into the diner. We walk in and hear Sam's voice call out.

"Over here, rabbits!" He calls out as he waves his arm.

I feel my face turn red as I hide it in Dustin's shoulder as he hollers back.

"Watch it, bro! Can't help it, you're jealous!"

"Damn right, you're getting it more than me these days." He says as we sit down. Amber leans over and whispers to me.

"That sounded really hot earlier, though."

"You heard all that?" I whisper back.

"Girl, we all heard that. The walls are very thin on the bus."

"Oh my gosh, I am so embarrassed."

"Don't be. We are all adults. We all get some now and then. Own that shit! Sounds like he knows what he's doing."

"He definitely knows what he is doing."

We both laugh as Elijah leans over.

"What's so funny girls?"

"Girl talk, babe. You wouldn't understand."

"Babe?" I quietly whisper.

She looks at me like a deer in the headlights. She just shakes her head and I feel like there is something she is not telling me. After a few minutes the waitress comes over to take our order and of course Sam starts flirting with her. She blushes as she takes our order and heads back to put it in.

"So we are going to be near the pier in Baltimore. There is a lot to do down there, if anyone is game to walk around. Daisy, there is an aquarium if you would like to go." Jack says quickly.

"Thank you, Jack. I would love to go see that."

"I guess we are going to the Aquarium." Dustin chuckles.

"Yay! I can't wait."

"I haven't been to that one. Sounds like fun." Colin says

"Maybe we could all go." Amber smiles.

"That would be cool." Elijah says as he slips an arm behind Amber.

"We could spend the day at the waterfront. A nice chill day." Jack offers.

"The Baltimore waterfront is really nice. I've been there before." Steve adds.

The waitress soon came back with our orders and set them down as we dug in. We discussed more about what we could do on our one day to do nothing. We would be spending a few days in Baltimore before heading to Philadelphia. Not sure who did the scheduling but it was weird how it all worked out. We were scattered all over the place, up and down. I guess we have to deal with it for now. Soon we were all finished and headed back on the bus. We all sit down in the seething area and I crawl onto Dustin's lap as he wraps his arms around me, and placing the other hand on my thigh as his thumb traces circles sending goosebumps up my spine. I look over and Amber is snuggled up against Elijah and everyone has settled into other chairs.
