Dustin's POV

It was early so there was not much traffic on the road and we made it to the studio on record time. We went into the building once we parked and headed up to Jason's office.

"Good morning, guys. Dustin, how is the leg?" Jason asks as we all sit down.

"It's feeling great at the moment. It's after I have been on it for a while that it gets sore."

"Well, we have got you scheduled for rehab this afternoon and every day until you leave. I want Daisy to go with you a few times so she can learn what you need to do so she can help you while on tour."

"Uggh, do I really have to?"
"Yes, we want you back to normal so you have the stamina you need to perform."

"Alright if I have to."

"Quit your bitchin' man. It's for your own good." Elijah chastises and I just roll my eyes as we get up to get started for the morning.

"So the first song is ready for recording?" Jason asks.

"I think it is. It is the best song I have heard come from Dustin." Jack praises.

"Daisy has been so good for him. I think he has found his muse." Sam says.

"Thank guys, I appreciate it. She has brought out the music in me again. I thought I had lost it a long time ago."

"Well, then let's get started." Jason exclaims.

We all head into the studio and the guys all start laying down the tracks for the song. We have been recording for a few hours making each one perfect before it's my turn to start laying down the vocals. My phone starts to ring and I quietly step out of the room to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Good morning, Mr. Stevens. It's Maxwell Jackson."

"Good morning Mr. Jackson. How is the case going?" I hesitate when I realize it is our lawyer. I hold my breath hoping that everything is going as planned.

"Things are going well. We have had a few women step forward wanting to tell their story. Which helps Ms. Rhodes' case. We have also been told several of his men have been arrested and are taking a deal which includes giving evidence against Mr. Jackson. I believe he will be going away for a long time. We will need to meet to go over the case before the trial day."
"We will be in Maryland next week. We could meet there."

"That sounds great. How long will you be there?"

We should be there for a few days. We will be in Virginia during the trial."

"That sounds great. Send me the details of where you will be then and I will come to you."
"Great, talk to you soon."

"Yes, and you have a good day."

"It's already gotten better, goodbye." I hang up and head back into the studio. They had all finished and it was now time to lay down the vocals.

"I am starving. Can we stop for lunch?" Sam whines as he lays down his sticks.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Elijah agrees.

"Alright, we will stop for lunch." Jason says giving in.

We all head out to the diner down the street. We sit down at a booth and place our orders. We have been there many times and the waitress knew what we wanted so it didn't take long to get our orders.

"So, is everyone ready to finish this tour?" Jason asks.

"So ready to get it started! Not ready for that court date though."
