Chapter Forty One

It has been several months since we have been home and the new album is almost finished. I am proud of what we have accomplished and can't wait for our fans to hear it. Today we are finishing up the last few songs. It has been a long road. After we had gotten home from the tour, Elijah finally talked Amber into going to the doctor. She was still nauseous and didn't have any energy. They found out that day she was five weeks pregnant. Elijah couldn't be happier. He had said that Amber was freaking out and he had to calm her down. She is now excited about his new chapter in her life and seems to be doing okay. I can't wait till the day that Daisy is carrying our child, and I hope that she hasn't changed her mind since the conversation we had. We had just finished up and Jason called us into his office.

"You all have done an amazing job. This album is your best one yet."

"Thank you, Jason. It's been so long since I was able to write. My muse has been amazing." I say with a smile.

"I have never seen you so happy, dude." Elijah says to me.

"I have never felt like this."
"So I believe everything is recorded and sounds amazing. I think the release party will be in a month." Jason adds.

"We could have it at the bar, where it all began and our fans are." Jack announces.

"I think that will work. I will get with everybody and we will get it all set up." Jason agrees.

"It will be awesome." Sam shouts.

"Alright guys, we are all done here and I will be in touch about the party. Go home and rest." Jason says as we all get up to leave.

"Hey Elijah, do you think Amber would be up to go ring shopping with me?" I asked as we walked out.

"I'm sure she will be. She has been wondering when you wanted to go. She is so excited about it."

"Have her call me and we can set up a time."

"I'll do that."

"Hey, why don't you come too. I could use the extra help. I want it to be perfect and I'm so afraid to get it wrong."
"Look, you could hand her a ring from a gumball machine and she would still say yes. The woman is so wrapped up in you as much as you are in her. I would be honored to come along and help you pick out a ring."

"Thank man, I was thinking about tomorrow."

"That sounds great. I will let Amber know."
We all head out and I head home to my girl. I actually make it home at a decent hour and I walk in with the whole house smelling like cookies. Most days lately I have come home well after she has gone to bed. I have come to savor these moments when I am able to spend time with her. I walk in the kitchen and I see her dancing around the kitchen to our music as she prepares our dinner. There is a plateful of my favorite cookies on the island. I can't help but watch her as her hips sway back and forth as she moves around the kitchen pulling dinner out of the oven and goes grab dishes from the cupboard and silverware from the drawer as she places them on the table. I slide in behind her wrapping my arms around her waist as I sway with her. She jumps and quickly turns around.

"Agggh! You scared me."

"I'm sorry, doll. I couldn't help it. You looked so good dancing around, I had to come and dance with you." I leaned down and kissed her lips and she smiled back up at me.

"So how was your day?"

"We actually finished up today. Everything will be sent to be produced and the album will be released in two months. They are planning on having a huge release party at the bar, where we all began."
"That's wonderful!"

"Jason is supposed to get with us when they want to do it. I can't wait for you to hear it."
"I know it will be amazing." She stands up on her tiptoes to kiss my lips and I pull her into me and off her feet as I spin her around. These are the little moments that I love, just her and I. I gently set her down and we sit down to eat. She always amazes me with the food she cooks. It is never the same and she is always coming up with new creations. She has opened up so much in the last couple months since the trial and Scott has been sent away. It's like her chains have been lighted and she has taken flight. Nothing will stand in her way and I will be there to support her in anything she wants to do.
