Dustin's POV
It's Saturday night and we are headed over to Jack's bar to play tonight. Being on stage is such a rush for me. Singing in front of a packed house and hearing the screams and chants, it's like a drug for me, I crave it. Usually with a small venue like this we set up our own equipment. As I am setting up I feel someone looking at me and I look up and see the woman that I ran into at the grocery store. She was having an anxiety attack. I had rushed over to her to try and help in any way. I wanted to get to know her then but she ran away before I could get her name. Maybe I could get to talk to her later. She soon realized I was looking at her and rushed off before I could even think to go over. We soon started our set and the crowd was electric and I was in my zone. It was amazing and I soaked it all up. Soon the first set was over and we were headed up to our table. As we walked up the groupies came out of nowhere and attached themselves to us. Well, they tried me but for some reason I wasn't in the mood. All I was thinking about was a little scared blonde who caught my eye. After we all had sat down, each man with a girl in his lap and girls sitting around me were just annoying and I paid them no attention, even though they were trying hard to get it. Several times I had to pull a hand away from my crotch. They just weren't doing it for me. Don't get me wrong, I love a good looking woman as much as the guys sitting next to me, but for some reason all I can think of is that little blonde. Just my luck I see her approach us.
"Good evening gentlemen, what can I get for you tonight?" Her voice floats to my ears and I am caught in her trance.
"Hey Daisy, tell Amber to bring up our usual and keep them coming." Jack calls out.
"Got it boss." She turns away and I can't help but watch her sway that ass as she walks away.
"Who's the new girl?" I ask.
"That's Daisy Lynne. Amber found her down at the diner. She said she was down on her luck and needed a job. She seems very timid. I hope that she will work out. Seems like a nice kid." Jack answers.
"How long has she been here?"
"Just a few days. Why? Have you got a thing for the new girl?" He smirks.
"No man, just wondering who she is, that's all."
"I do though, she is kinda hot." I hear Sam call out.
"Shut up man, back off. She doesn't need someone like you."
"And she could do better with you?"
I just glare at him, and I see Daisy come back with a tray full of beer and a bottle of whiskey. She sits the tray down.
"Here you go gentleman. If you need anything else just let me know."
"Will do, thank you." Elijah smiles.
"Thank you, are you alright tonight?" I ask.
"I am, thank you."
"You're new aren't you?" Sam asks.
"Yes, I just started this week."
"Well, it's nice to meet you. It's about time Jack got some new meat in here." He smirks.
"Watch it Sam. Be nice to the girl, she is not just meat." I warn.
"Okay, sorry Daisy." Sam apologizes.
She walks away shaking her head and I watch as she walks away.
"Do we sing some of our new stuff tonight?" Elijah asks, trying to change the subject.
"Hey Dustin, are you there?" Jack says, snapping his fingers at me.
"What?" I snap as I break my gaze from her.
