The vibrating of my phone when it buzzed on the table had me practically jumping to answer it, this had startled the nurse who was in the room with me. I gave her an apologetic smile before opening the messenger app. My heart sank when I saw it was only a message from Type.

He and Tharn were inviting me for a meal to thank me for helping him. I, quickly, replied that they didn't have to but after they insisted I agreed. When I put the phone back down I slumped in my chair and sighed.

It had been a month since Type and Tharn's wedding and a month since I told Champ how I felt. He had said he hadn't wanted to lose me, and that he didn't know if what he felt for me was love but he was willing to try. Champ told me to be patient and I was trying but it was hard.

I heard him tell people at the wedding that he was going after me but he hasn't done anything since. Well, that isn't exactly true. We do go for meals more and I spend a lot of time at his restaurant. However, it's just like what we did before and I still have no idea what I mean to him.

"Are you ok, Doctor?"

I jumped once again and blushed, completely forgetting I was at work and that I wasn't alone.

"Yes, thank you," I said, automatically ducking my head to hide my blush.

"Are you sure? That is the third time you have sighed in ten minutes," she said, taking the seat for patients in front of me.

I debated with myself for a moment before I noticed the ring on her wedding finger. I knew she was in her thirties and she has had that ring on since I started working here seven years ago. So, maybe she would have some advice.

"Nurse Jun, Can I ask you a question?"

She nodded and moved closer. Her bright eyes bored into mine and I felt a little exposed.

"Well, there is someone I like but they are a little dense and never knew about my feelings for them. They told me about their strange opinion on love and I got upset and confessed to them. Afterwards, when I said that we shouldn't see each other for a bit they got upset and said that they didn't want to lose me."

She had a knowing smile and reached over to pat my hand.

"Has he said he likes you the way you like him?" she asked and I stared at her with wide eyes and an open mouth.

"What?"

Nurse Jun laughed a little.

"I've seen the way you look at that handsome, young man that brings you food. It's obvious how you feel," she explained.

I blushed even more at that, had everyone seen it? After adjusting my glasses I twiddled with my fingers before I answered her.

"Well, he hasn't said that to me but he said that the thought of never seeing me didn't feel right to him. We went to our friend's wedding together a month back. I heard him tell many people he was going after me but nothing has happened since. I mean we spend more time together when we can but it's nothing different than before."

Nurse Jun nodded and tapped her chin as if she was thinking.

"You said earlier that he was dense, what did you mean?" she asked.

"Well, when it comes to love, dating and all that he has no clue. He had no idea I liked him all this time despite everything I did. I made up ridiculous excuses to see him. I would smile and blush around him and fall over my words. It was obvious to everyone else but him."
