Remember when Luca said he didn't like olives? When he refused to try them?

Yeah, me too. And I remembered it with a smug smile when he popped open his mouth for me to drop another olive onto his tongue. We were sat on the top deck, right at the front. I sat on the same chair as him, my body between his legs and my head back against his shoulder.

"I thought these were supposed to be for me. You've ate half the jar."

As I spoke, he stole the one I was about to pop into my mouth.

"That's just rude, dick." I threw up my hands and he snorted, using the small fork to pick up one and held it up to my lips as way of an apology.

"I blame you, you're the one who forced me to try them." I took it between my teeth.

"Didn't mean I wanted you to hijack my every olive." I quipped when he put another one into his mouth, "How many can you even fit in there?" I turned over my shoulder to him.

He shrugged, "Wanna find out?"

An amused smile split my lips as I got up and moved to straddle him so I was facing him, "No cheating. No spitting. And don't throw up or something, I like this dress." I pointed a finger.

"Yes ma'am." His dimples popped out.

I shook my head at the immaturity of this situation but he only smiled wide, popping open his mouth. When we got to four olives securely inside his mouth, it was getting difficult for me to not laugh. His cheeks were all puffed up and if he laughed, all the olives would come flying out. Game over.

"Four? Come on, really?" I raised my eyebrows and he pinched his eyebrows together in disagreement, waving me on to hit him with more.

I picked up another one and popped it into his mouth but he had to slap his hand over his mouth to contain the sudden bout of laughter that overcame him.

"Luca, don't-" I said between my laughs and a tear trickled from his eyes, only making the two of us laugh more.

"One more. We can do one more, right?" I took a breath to try to compose myself, little laughs still leaving me. He nodded.

The sight of his amused eyes and the track of his tear made me want to laugh again but I held it in. If I laughed, he'd laugh and I really didn't need a face full of olives hitting me.

I picked up an olive but Luca's eyes widened, looking to something behind me. I looked back to see just a regular gas station. He tried to talk to me with his hands while swallowing down the olives but it was only making me laugh.

"What are you- you look so fucking stupid right now." I pressed a hand to my stomach from the belly-aching laughter.

Once he got all the olives down, he took in a deep breath, "I could've choked just then and you were laughing your tits off." Was the first thing he said.

"If you saw what I saw, you'd laugh too. Looked like a lil chipmunk." I pinched his cheeks.

"Otis!" He yelled down to him.

We heard him yell back up, "Is everything okay?"

"Can we stop at this gas station? Before the first place?" Luca asked.

"It'll run you a little off course." Otis called out.

"It's fine." Lu said and Otis pulled into the random, desolate gas station. Luca took my hand as we walked down the stairs and past Otis.

"Number one." He leaned down to say in my ear as we pushed open the door to the small gas station, "Stealing from a gas station."

My eyes widened.
