Sometimes I tend to forget that cold can make you sick. Yes, the rain that night gave me the fucking sniffles and sneezes when morning came.

I'd dropped Luca off to his house, which might I add was huge. An annoyingly rich one, floor to glass windows practically everywhere.

It intimidated me and I had to do my very best not to outright gawk at the black Camaro and red McLaren sitting out front.

"Snap out of it." Luca clicked his fingers in front of my face, a small smile on his face as he stepped one foot out of the car.

"You can't blame me." I gaped, ducking my head to look up. It's a whole fucking mansion.

"You really need to stop calling me mate." He looked at me with a pained expression.

"What? Why?" I pulled my face back.

He looked at me as if he was trying to figure out whether I was serious. He just shook his head, smirked a little and stepped a foot out of the car.

"Til next time, Romano." He rasped, shutting the car door behind him.

I watched him walk up the lengthy driveway, watched him turn back just as he got to the door and then have to duck under the doorway, slipping into the mansion.

That was around four in the morning. Now, it was half seven and as we've established, I couldn't stop fucking sneezing. There was a knock to my door and mum had slipped through before I'd even replied.

"How are you feel-"

She cut herself off when I sneezed into a tissue.

"Well then, I need to get to work, text me if you need anything. And please don't run out into the rain every time it makes an appearance." She raised an accusing eyebrow and I narrowed my eyes.

"I don't fucking do that-"

"Mhm." She spun on one heel and was about to leave but turned back to me at the last second. She quickly walked her way over, pressing a kiss to my forehead and tucking the duvet into the sides of my body so I was encased.

"Love you." She said while walking out.

I heard the door shut downstairs as she left. I snuggled my nose into the duvet and slithering my arm up from being wrapped up like a burrito to grab my phone.

Just as I grasped it, the door opened and shut again loudly. I dropped it in startle.

The familiar thudding footsteps ran up the staircase and I wondered whether if I feigned being asleep, they'd leave. Then I realised, they aren't stupid enough to think I'd be sleeping.

The door flung open and I groaned.

"What if I was fucking naked, idiots?" I hid my face in the duvet as two bodies flopped onto my bed.

"Do you have a fever?" Malik inquired immediately, tugging the duvet down so my face was visible and pressing the back of his hand to my cheek.

"You're supposed to check her forehead, dumbass." Everest swatted his arm, placing the back of his own hand on my forehead.

I slapped both their hands off my face and they frowned, simultaneously rubbing at where I'd hit them.

"I don't have a fever." I made clear.

"Lila made you cookies." Everest practically shoved a plate of cookies in my face. I mustered up a smile.
