Tw: violence

Angel doesn't know what brought her back to Friendly Reminder a few days after her and Jules had visited.

It almost felt like she had gone there on auto pilot, and she didn't notice exactly what she had done until she was standing at the bar talking to the same bartender with bright red hair that had been here over the weekend.

She was surprised that the bartender had recognized her as soon as she walked up to the bar.

"Hey, you were here the other night! Shirley temple with raspberry vodka right? No friend with you tonight?" he asked her with a bright smile.

She quickly returned the smile nodding her head.
"Yeah, that would be awesome. Do you remember everyone's orders this easily or? And no, I'm here by myself tonight. Just wanted to get out of the house." she asked him curiously, sitting down one on of the stools directly across from him.

He laughed in response, shaking his head while setting down her drink in front of her. "No, usually people don't come here for fancy Shirley temples so it was pretty easy to recall. I'm Jawn." he said extending his hand.

Angel smiled, reaching her hand out to shake it when she jumps due to a stern voice directly next to her.

"Do me a fucking favor and keep an eye on her so she doesn't get herself in trouble. I don't know why she was stupid enough to come here absolutely alone and admit that with a bunch of people around her." the voice growled in a tone that made the hair on the back of her neck stand up.

Angel pulled her hand back from Jawn, scoffing as she turned to face whoever was standing next to her. "And who the fuck-"

She immediately cut herself off when she was face to face with the same man with purple hair she had met a few days prior.

Met was a relative word in the grand scheme of what had happened the other night, she still hadn't been able to fully process what the interaction they had was but she would be damned if she let him talk around her like she wasn't even a person sitting there.

"Like I said, keep an eye on her. She isn't worth the club shutting down over." Awsten said sternly.

"You know I am right fucking here right? I am a grown ass woman I'm pretty sure I can watch over myself." Angel spat in his direction.

She wasn't sure where this sudden boost of stubborness had come from, or why she felt the need to defend herself so strongly against this man.

Her entire life she had been a passive person, never addressing conflict head on. Until now.

"If you have a problem, you can get the fuck up and leave." Awsten said angrily pointing at the door, growing more frustrated by the minute with the girl sitting across from him. "The door is right there."

Angel smiled sweetly at him as she watched his nostrils flare in anger. "No I'm good, you can go somewhere else though." she replied before turning his attention back on Jawn.

She didn't care that the purple haired man worked at the club, as far as she was concerned she wasn't going to let anyone talk to her that way.
