Everything hurt.

Angel's head, her thigh, her ribcage, there was pain everywhere. She felt like she couldn't form a coherent thought, all she knew was the fact that she was safe in Awsten's arms at that moment.

She hoped that they were leaving that place, she hoped that the two men that were in the ring were both okay, she hoped that Ian had believed the front that she had put on when she was by herself with him, she had so much hope.

That seemed to be the only thing that could keep her going in that moment, was the hope that things would be okay.

"Did either of you see what happened?" Awsten asked in a whispered tone as he carried Angel's limp body up the stairs and down the long hallway.

Geoff shook his head immediately, "No, I couldn't see her over around any of the people standing around the front. I just saw when everyone moved aside and she was on the ground, I think she passed out."

"And is there a reason why she was freaking out when you were trying to help her?" Awsten mumbled, breathing a sigh of relief once they were fully outside of the building.

Geoff's face twisted into something that was a mixture of sadness, and anger as he struggled to find words to explain how he felt about the fact that he couldn't help her.

"Geoff, I'm not blaming you for anything I just don't understand why she was so worked up when it was you that was next to her. She trusts you, that's just not a reaction I would of expected from her." Awsten explained, looking down at Angel as her eyes fluttered open and close.

Geoff shrugged his shoulders half hazardly as he opened the door for Awsten so that he could put Angel in the car. "I don't know, I lightly touched her arm and she freaked out saying that she needed you."

Awsten's jaw clenched as he buckled her seat belt for her. "Love I need you to wake up for this car ride home can you do that for me? Angel, hey." he said softly, pulling the mask off of her face cupping it with both of his hands.

Angel swallowed thickly as she nodded her head, sitting up a little straighter in hopes that she would feel a little more awake. "Can I control the music on the way home?" she asked him softly.

He chuckled as he handed her the aux cord, "Yeah, just stay awake for me."

Awsten closed the door softly, glancing back to make sure that she was still sitting with her eyes open. "Do we know if he touched her? I mean she's never pulled away from you or Otto like that. Ever. She knows you wouldn't hurt her."

Geoff ran a hand through his already messy hair, "Awsten I really don't know. She just said something about fuzzy, I think she probably hit her head really hard she wasn't making much sense."

He was confused went Awsten laughed as he loosened his tie making his way over to the drivers side of the car. "No that makes sense, that's the fucking ridiculous nickname she gave me because I haven't told her my name."

"You know that you can trust her right? When it comes to your name that is. I know she doesn't care you haven't told her but you can trust her." Otto chirped in for the first time since they had made it out of the building.

Awsten paused for a minute before opening up the door, "I know."

He was thankful to see that Angel was still awake in the car softly nodding her head around, singing to Cocoon by Catfish and the Bottlemen. "I'd rather go blind than let you down."
