Angel felt wildly uncomfortable, even though she had accidentally put herself into a situation where she had learned more about Awsten.

She couldn't help but feel guilty, she knew that he kept himself closed off and guarded and couldn't even imagine he had felt as they were all standing in the living room together.

He had been oddly nice to her for the rest of the morning, at least as nice as someone like him could possibly be.

Angel had tried to call Otto, multiple times actually but she quickly realized that getting ahold of him was almost as difficult as catching lighting bugs in a jar in the middle the day.

Everyone aside from Awsten had told her that she was always welcome at the club during the day whenever she wanted to stop by, but the little voice in the back of her mind told her that they were only saying that to be kind because they felt like they had to be.

With his sister in town, she highly doubted that she would have to face him at the club. All she knew was that she needed someone to talk to. Normally she would call Jules but considering the fact that she had no idea what was currently happening in Angel's life, that was out of the question.

Running through her options, she thought about stopping by the studio but it was the weekend and they weren't open usually. Realistically she could stop in herself, but she would feel guilty if someone was to walk by and see her inside without the doors open.

The only option she felt like she had left was to go to the club in hopes that Otto was there for her to talk to.

At this point she could make the drive to Friendly Reminder with her eyes closed, she wasn't sure why the drive was so engrained in her brain after only going a few times but she was too tired to question any of the things that were happening in her life at the moment.

It seemed as though gaining a sense of direction was the least of her worries.

When she pulled up to the club she was disheartened to see that Otto's car wasn't outside, she knew what the rest of them drove just through being observant and through that she knew that Geoff and Jawn were here at the moment.

She didn't fully understand why they all got there so early when Awsten was the one who ran the entire thing, she wondered if they were like her and just hated being alone.

Angel thought that if she was in their position she would stay away from the club as much as she possibly could, but then again she hadn't fully processed the fact that she was in their position in her own way.

The smell of the club never changed regardless of what time of the day it was, it was a weird mixture of the various alcohol that lined the walls, in addition to smoke and some sort of cleaning product that she couldn't put her finger on.

The smoke was the most unsettling part to her, it wasn't allowed in the club so Angel was never really sure why the smell hung so heavily in the air. It felt like a bad omen, as did most things now a days.

"Hello?" she called out cautiously as she walked past the bar, Jawn was no where to be found behind it where he normally would be and she didn't want to snoop around at all in attempts to try and find anyone.

"Angel is that you?" Geoff called out from the back room of the club.

She nodded her head, laughing to herself when she realized that he couldn't see her. "Yeah it's me, I came to see if Otto was here but I'm assuming he's not?" she questioned gently, walking closer to where she knew that he was.
