The golden light in the distance began to fade, and the sky started to go from an array of yellows, oranges and pinks and turned to a blue-black night with bright white stars scattered across, I knew it was time for the both of us to head home. While it was something I didn't want to do, as the two of us were having wonderful conversations, I knew people would begin to look for us if we didn't go back now. He knew this too, as his smile began to turn a slight frown at the darkening night.

"We should probably head home soon, people will come looking for us" I said, hair falling down the side of my face as I looked down towards the ground. "Yeah, I guess we should. My family's going to be really worried if I'm not home soon. Should we meet up again tomorrow?" he asked, hope lacing every word in the last sentence. "Of course, come over when you want to meet up" I responded, both of us standing up and starting to walk home.

A bell rang as I walked into my house through the shopfront. I walked carefully to the living room of our house, where I was greeted by both of my parents sitting down on the sofa, waiting for me to come home. "And where were you all day?" My mother asked, staring up and down at me. "Out?" I replied, hoping that they wouldn't decide to yell at me. "We understand that, but it would have been nice to know that you would be out so late. We've been worried. We were about to go out and look for you" my father added, placing a hand on my shoulder softly. "Look, we're fine with you going out for the day and we even want it, but just make sure that we know in advance so we aren't worrying about you" my mother said, a soft look in her eyes. "I know, I know. I should have told you, I'm sorry, it won't happen again" I told them. "Good. Now it's late, go eat dinner and then head to bed" my father spoke, and I did. I ate my dinner quickly, cleaned myself up and went to bed.

When I woke up, the sun was a dark orange just creeping through the curtains into my room. Because of this I knew it was early, and knew nobody else would be up, so I quietly walked downstairs to get something for breakfast. I made myself some arepa con quesito with a side of eggs while I waited for my mother and father to wake up for a full breakfast. After eating I sat myself down in the shopfront and started doing the embroidery on the dress my father had finished the day before.

"Boo!" I heard being yelled from behind me, making me jump out of my seat. Standing behind me when I was sitting down was Camilo, doubling over in laughter at my jumpy reaction. "Why?! Why would you do that! That wasn't funny Camilo!" I yelled, immediately regretting my decision as I could've woken my parents up. "It was kind of funny, you've got to admit" he wheezed, starting to compose himself after dying of laughter. "It wasn't. What are you doing here anyway? It's really early" I questioned, annoyance in my voice as I asked. "Well, I was going to ask if you'd like to hang out again today, at my house at four. How about it?" He asked, a ray of hope in his eyes that I'd seen before. "You know what, sure, it's a date" I exclaimed. "A date?!"
