"Yeah?" I uttered, confused as to why he was shocked at the statement for a moment. Then it hit me. "Wait! No, no I mean like a date is set for when we do it. I didn't mean it like a date date" I blurted, embarrassed at how it sounded before. I mean, I wouldn't mind going on a date with him, but the two of us had practically just met, and I doubt he would see me in that way. "Yeah, I get it now, sorry I took it the wrong way" he muttered, cheeks tinted a slight shade of red, probably embarrassed with the situation as well. "Well, I better get back home, I snuck out and they would probably kill me if they knew" he chirped, his confidence quickly being regained after the moment from before. "Isn't your older sister's gift the ability to hear pretty much anything? She'd be able to hear this right now, would she tell them?" I asked as he was climbing out of the window. "I doubt it. I annoy her a lot, but we have each other's backs. I don't think she'll tell my family" he said, then went out of my view and went home.

This morning at the shop was a bit hectic. I had to finish the embroidery for the dress i I was working on the previous day, sew the trousers for two men, adjust the length on the trousers for the son of one of them, sew the seams of many different things that had been torn and so many more daily tasks. Because of this the morning seemed to drag, which I would normally see as good but I had somewhere I wanted to be today. When the final person of the morning rush came through a sigh was heard all throughout the house. Our shop was always busy, but it hadn't been this busy in a while. My mother went to turn the 'Open' sign that was seen at the front of the house to 'Closed' While me and my father went to make drinks for all of us.

"Would it be alright if I went out later?" I asked my father. He turned to face me with a slightly confused look on his face. "Of course you can. It's not like you though, you hardly ever want to go out, are you sure you're my child or are you Camilo Madrigal playing a trick on me?" He joked, although I couldn't stop a slight blush rushing to my cheeks at the name. I'd hardly known him personally and I was already blushing at just the thought of him. "Ah, maybe not then" my father whispered. "It's not like that dad" I blurted out, and he was quickly chuckling. "Well, who were you out all day with yesterday then?" he asked, heat rising to my cheeks again. I did nothing but look down, and my father took that as my answer. "I see, well, he does seem nice, maybe you could invite him over for dinner sometime" he suggested, and a slight smile was peeking it's way through at the corner of his lips. "Dad" I dragged, sulking at the fact that he was implying there should be a relationship between the two of us, while he was giving a small laugh.

"Well, who's this mystery boy then?" I heard being spoken behind me. "Mom, don't, there is no 'mystery boy'" I uttered in a monotone voice. I was tired of the conversation by this point. I was tired of my parents trying to get me someone to love, or at least be friends with. The other thing though, I was annoyed that they were right. I did like him. But I didn't want to give myself any false hope. "Camilo Madrigal it seems, and the two of them will be together again today" my father added, although after seeing my tired expression, he signalled to my mother that they should leave me be for now and discuss it somewhere else to talk. I checked the time and saw it was about half past three, meaning Camilo would be here soon. I quickly went to change into something more formal while still keeping a casual feel to me. I brushed my hair and went to go see my parents.

While I was leaving my room I heard a soft knock at the door followed quickly by a rush of footsteps and the opening of the front door. When I noticed the time I realised it would be Camilo at the door, and that my parents would be there questioning him already. I ran down the rest of the stairs in a hope to refrain Camilo from having to deal with my parents' antics any longer. They were lovely people but they could be a bit overwhelming. When I got to the shopfront I saw him, standing tall but having to look up slightly to talk to my parents to their faces. Everyone heard me coming from behind, my parents turning around to see me. I took it as a cue to get out of the house quickly, running past them and grabbing Camilo by the wrist and pulling him gently away. My parents were slightly shocked but just waved us goodbye, going inside giggling to themselves.

I turned to face Camilo, a warm smile creeping onto his face when he saw me. I asked quietly "Well, shall we be off?"
