He sat down next to me, watching the water trickle down. "Uh, we should probably talk about earlier" he told me, and I looked away from him back at the water. "We probably should" I replied, hoping that even though he said that he liked me back, he wouldn't say that he just wanted to stay friends. "Would you like to go out on a date sometime?" he asked, and a blush of shock grew on my face because of the question. "I- uh. Y-yeah. I would like that" I replied, confused at the question causing me to stutter. "Alright then, we can go out tomorrow morning on a proper date. I'll have to come back early because the Guzmán's are coming over. Apparently Mariano is going to propose to Isabela" he said.

"She doesn't want to marry him, you know. If you pay attention whenever anyone brings it up she makes it obvious that she doesn't want to" I revealed, and he looked back at me with a confused look on his face. "Why would she be so alright with marrying him if she didn't really want to" he asked. "I'm not sure. Supporting the family, keeping up expectations, things like that. She's the golden child, everyone knows that, even her, so she knows, or believes, that she has to do everything in her power to keep it like that" I disclosed. "That- does actually make sense. Damn, never thought about that" he confessed.

Then we heard it. Mirabels yells about the house breaking. We ran towards where everyone else was, tripping and tumbling over roots and plants so we would get there quicker. When we got to the balcony of the house, we saw nothing. No cracks, no breaks, nothing. Alma Madrigal made everything out to seem like nothing was wrong. Me and Camilo exchanged a knowing look. Mirabel and Antonio were close, and she would never try to ruin his night, so doing this without a reason made no sense for her. Within a minute everyone else had gone back to Antonio's room, and I began to follow suit before I was pulled away. Camilo grabbed me by my hand and began to pull me away from the crowd. I was brought past Dolores' room and into his, him shutting the door behind us as we came in.

While Camilo closed the door to his room, I quickly looked around. In the centre of his room was a king sized bed, and on the four walls around it were about a hundred mirrors that were hung on the walls all a pale yellow colour that gave me a feeling of joy . In between all of these mirrors were pictures and portraits of almost everyone in town, including a picture of his family that was taken earlier that took up most of the left wall. "Like it?" he asked me, grabbing my upper arms from behind. "Of course, I don't get why you didn't bring me here sooner. It's amazing in here" I told him, a light blush spreading across his face. Within a moment the pale yellow covering the walls changed to a light pink. "Wow. What happened" I questioned. "Things in here change, like I do. The walls change with emotion, the room itself will change shape whenever I want it to, but this is the easiest for me to manage" he said, walking towards his bed and falling down on it on his back.

"So, do the pink walls mean you're flustered?" I questioned, and the walls' darkening colour was my answer. "Why did you bring me here anyway? We could've gone back to Antonio's room" I asked again. "Well, I thought it would be nice if we could have some time alone. Besides, I don't think the mood at the party is going to be the same after what Mirabel said anyway. There's no point" he said, raising his hands to be above his head while he was laying down. "I guess so. What would you like to do while we're here then. I've got a few hours before everyone leaves".

"I've got a few ideas".
