After our quick kiss, me and Camilo went to work and began rebuilding the house. Everyone worked all throughout the day, working on different parts of the house at the same time so that it would be done quicker. I was assigned to work on the back tower of the house, and I was surprised to see his tío Bruno there, using sand to show people the shape in which his tower used to stand. I stood a ways away from him, noticing all the small things he did and the way he acted before deciding to talk to him. He was very different to how Camilo described him, definitely not 7 foot tall, and he didn't seem the type to make someone fall unconscious. He seemed awkward, superstitious even. He threw salt behind him when he walked, and could barely hold a conversation with the priest of the town without it seeming like he was dying inside. After about 10 years of no contact, and god knows where he was living, the social awkwardness and superstitiousness seemed to fit him.

After about two and a half hours I went for a break. I'd worked nonstop and to my best ability, so I thought I deserved a small water break. When I got to the small stand that people had set up for everyone to get water to drink so they wouldn't get dehydrated, I saw Señor Félix and Señora Pepa standing together, smiles on both of their faces as they talked to each other. I tried to get past them and get a drink without bothering them, but I was unsuccessful and caught the attention of the couple.

"Hey, you're Camilo's partner right?" Félix exclaimed, pulling Pepa closer to him and walking towards me. I almost spat out my drink at the comment, staring at the two of them with wide eyes. The two of us didn't put a label on what we were yet, god we hadn't even been on a proper date, and here I was, standing in front of his parents while they were asking about the two of us. "Uh, well, um.." I trailed on, hoping that something would come up and I would get an escape from the situation. Something did come up, but it was not what I was expecting. Dolores came up from behind me, elbowing me lightly in the side and gesturing to me at her parents. "Well the two of them are definitely something. Me, Mirabel and Isabela caught them kissing rather passionately at the side of the house earlier. We better be careful that children don't come our way in the next year, the two of you are only 15" She joked, but my face turned a bright red at the comment, and I couldn't tell whether her parents were laughing at what she said or my reaction.

"Come on all of you, leave them be, they don't need your teasing" Isabela said, pulling me by the elbow away from the three. "I can't wait for those children" Pepa laughed, and we left the three of them in a state of uncontrollable laughter. "I'm glad they seem happy, but I can tell you didn't really want to have that conversation with your future in-laws when you're only 15 I assume" Isabela said, and I quickly pulled away from her. "God, you too, Isa. Look, I do want to be with him for the rest of my life, and yes do those things with him eventually, but don't you think there's a better time and place to say these types of things!" I exclaimed, though I was shocked to see her with a grin on her face and holding back laughter. She skipped away from me towards Mirabel and Señora Julietta, probably to tell them about what she heard outside.

"You want to marry me and have kids with me, huh?" I heard in a joking tone from behind me. I knew that it was Camilo, but I was too embarrassed in the moment to turn around and face him. "Cute" he whispered, pulling me into his chest, turning me around and pulling me into a hug. I still couldn't bear to look at him, my face too red for him to be able to take me seriously. From what I could guess we were attracting attention from people, so Camilo pulled me away from where we were standing, and back outside the house's walls to where his parents were. Before we were in earshot I quietly asked him "What are you doing?" "Can I not introduce the person I love and want to marry to my parents as my partner?" he asked, and my face deepened to another shade of red. He chuckled at my flustered face, then pulled me back to where his parents were standing. Dolores had gone by this point, and his parents had moved to a slightly less populated area, so it would just be the four of us together.

"Mamí, papá, this is my partner, Y/n. I thought it was time you finally knew them as my partner" he told them, his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. "Well, it was pretty obvious that the two of you were something to each other, it is nice to know what it is though" Félix said, pulling Pepa closer to him in a similar fashion to Camilo. "He is right Camilo, it was pretty obvious you were something to each other. Although, I don't expect the two of you to have children until you're at least 18, you'll be more responsible then" Pepa told us, Camilo beginning to choke on air and my face growing redder than it was earlier. Pepa and Félix began to laugh at the reactions we both had, saying something about having to go help the others build, leaving us alone again.

"I didn't expect to hear that from my parents today" he said after a minute. "I second that. Let's just hope that they don't talk about it to my parents, their reaction would be all over the place" I told him, and I received a small chuckle in return.

"Well, I don't mind taking our relationship slowly or going really fast, whatever you prefer, as long as it's with you".

"You're way too cute for your own good".

"I think you meant hot because I am not cute".

"No, I definitely meant cute"

"You're the cute one, not me".

"Am not".

"Are too".

"Am not".

"Not".

"Am".

"Really".

"...Shut up".
