My father sent me to bed right away, not wanting me to worry anymore than I already was. I spent a while cleaning up the mess in my room before I did, cleaning up my clothes and carefully discarding the broken glass. I went back downstairs to get a glass and fill it up with water for the primrose to go in. I got changed into something more comfortable and then made my way into bed. After about five minutes of struggling to fall asleep, I heard a soft knocking on my window. Thinking it was my imagination I ignored it at first, but after about twenty seconds I went over to the window to see what was the problem. I thought it was a branch that was knocking against the wood, but I was wrong.

"Camilo, what are you doing here?" I asked, confused at seeing him here this late at night. "I didn't know where to go. Everyone's stressed about finding Mirabel but I don't know what to do. I thought coming here would help" he confessed, head facing down so I couldn't see his face when he was feeling weak. "Do you want to stay here for a bit and then the two of us can go and look for her?" I asked him, knowing if the two of us left now he would be more stressed than he was now, but if he stayed here for too long he would feel as though he wasn't doing enough to help the family. "That would be nice" He said, climbing through the window into my room.

He looked around the room slowly, taking in everything that was around him. "Hey, where's the flower that I got you this morning?" He asked, not showing anger but rather curiosity. "The vase got broken when the cracks started running through town. I had it on the windowsill. It's over there on my bedside table in a glass now though" I told him, signalling over to where the flower was now. As if he was waiting for me to turn my back on him, he picked me up and gently laid me down on the bed, then laid down next to me.

"Woah don't do that, you scared me!" I yelled quietly, a small chuckle coming from him as I did. Although I was a little mad, it was good to see him even slightly happy, because after the events of today, he needed every small thing to go right. He then pulled me closer to him, my head against his chest and his in my hair. He hummed contentedly as we lay there, weaving his hands through my hair and leaving small kisses on my forehead. The moment was perfect, neither of us caring about what else was going on at that moment, but rather just caring about each other.

About an hour later Camilo got up from the bed and walked over to the window, signalling for me to follow. "I'll be down in a minute, I have to get changed first" I told him, and he went out the window and onto the ground outside while I changed. I got a new outfit on, quickly throwing on a pair of shoes and left a note telling my parents I went out to look for Mirabel, then followed Camilo and went out of the window. It took him only a moment to notice me, quickly following with a flirty remark. "You ready to go primrose?"
