"What she said, it didn't mean anything, did it?" He asked, his face turning more red by the second. The embarrassment from the moment caused a slight panic in my head, making me say and do nothing except stare at him. My silence caused a realisation in him, and the blush on his face became redder. I knew that this was it. In a moment he would tell me that he didn't feel the same way and that Isabela must have interpreted something he said wrongly. I began to walk away, back to where I could see that my parents were, although I was quickly stopped by his hand gently grabbing my wrist. It wasn't that tight, and I could still walk away if I wanted to, but when I looked up at his face something told me to stay.

"You like me as more than a friend, right?" he asked, my head and my heart telling me two different things, one telling me to run and the other telling me to confess my feelings. I simply nodded at him, lowering my head so that he couldn't see my face, and so that I couldn't see his. "This isn't a joke right. Please tell me it's not a joke" he spilled, his other hand grabbing at my other wrist. "It's not, I promise. I get it, you don't feel the same. I should probably go" I sighed, pulling my hands away slightly before getting pulled into his chest, being quickly engulfed in a hug. "I like you too" he told me, the smile on his face recognizable by his tone of voice. "You do?" I questioned, unable to see his facial features because I was being held too tight against his chest. "I do".

"Camilo, come on" the two of us heard being yelled from a small distance away. We both noticed his father looking at us, moving away from each other slightly. He turned towards me, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "I need to go, things are going to be starting soon, we're going to go talk to Antonio one last time to wish him luck" he stated. I gave him a small smile and a nod, then watched as he walked away towards his parents. I knew it was time for me to go back to mine so I was with them for the ceremony.

"Where did you go off to?" my mother pondered as I stood next to her and my father. "I went to talk to Isabela. I got bored just standing around" I told them, not being entirely truthful but not lying at the same time. "Alright. If you say so" she replied.

After a while, the ceremony where Antonio got his gift was over, and everyone was partying in his new room. With the amount of people that were in the room and the fact that it was huge, I got lost pretty easily and didn't know where my parents were. I was sitting on a tree root, watching the water from the nearby waterfall trickle down and cause splashes in the lake below. I was in a daze while watching it when I felt a hand placed softly on my arm.

"Oh, hey Camilo".
