Tanjirou's POV
That night was pretty hectic to say the least, Inosuke kicked us out of our cabin and threw our bins in the hall. He wasn't the only one moving around to have his 'group' with him, Rengoku and his friends also moved around, and that left the girl cabin deserted. So me, Muichiro and Zenitsu were forced to move there.
I wasn't upset or anything, the room smelt much nicer than the other cabin. Like sweet lotions and vibrant perfume. Nezuko was already there so at least it wouldn't be too much of a hassle for her.
I don't know where Kanao went but she wasn't in the cabin. The night was peaceful, but there was a heavy feeling of doom in the air, as if we could all drop dead any second now.
That morning we all ate in our groups like last night. Then when the captains came in, the air turned dense, so much so you could cut it with a knife. But nobody said anything.
"I would like to address what happened yesterday" Giyuu started as he stood in front of all of us, "I've told you all the truth, it's now up to all of you to believe it or not"
"This is total bull, why should we even trust you?" Inosuke called out.
"Because we now only have each other, I know it may be hard for you, nearly impossible for others. But I ask you all to put your trust in me" he said sternly.
Nobody said anything, but then Inosuke broke through the silence. He spoke for almost everyone.
"No you depressed fuck!"
After breakfast we all went back to our respective rooms, I wasn't entirely sure what we were supposed to do now though. I heard some banging on the door suddenly, I saw Zenitsu jump visibly while Muichiro and Nezuko played shogi on the floor with the board and pieces Nezuko had taken from the lounge.
I let it slide on the condition that they'd put it back when they were done.
I went over to open the door, but it was opened from the outside before me.
"Oi, Gonpachiro" Inosuke started as he barged into the room.
"Inosuke, what are you doing?" I asked.
"We should join forces Tontaro, the other two have too much power, if we team up then we can all be even" he reasoned in a hushed voice.
"Inosuke, I don't know what you're talking about," I said calmly.
"Us two, the group I command and your little club or whatever" he sighed, as if it was obvious enough.
"Alright then, if you want to team up then sure" I shrugged.
"Good, you are all now under my command" he announced as he puffed up his chest.
"Wait, time out" Zenitsu said suddenly, "You don't own us or anything"
"I do now, and you all better get used to being my underlings" he scoffed.
"Look what you've done Tanjirou, and to think I trusted you" Zenitsu shook his head and clicked his tongue in disappointment, "Bold of you to assume he won't use us as human sacrifices"
"Alright Inosuke, I trust that you won't get us killed" I sighed.
"Well then at this point it's your own fault" he said and then left the room before Zenitsu could ask what he meant.
I wasn't worried though, I trusted Inosuke. Kind of.
I walked into the hall leading to the kitchen, and I wanted to talk to Mitsuri.
As I made my way to the kitchen I heard light chirping sounds, instantly I was confused but I continued to go into the kitchen.
"There, there now, don't worry you'll be just fine" I heard her say. Although I didn't know who she was talking to, I didn't hear anyone else.
