All the gods including Brahmadev had gone to Vaikunth to ask for Narayan's help, now only he could help them overcome this adversity.
"Prithvi aur Shristhi ke rakshan hetu, mere teesre avtar ka samaye aa chuka hai. Hiranyaksh ka vardaan ab uske liye abhishap banega." Narayan said.
"Kaisa avtar Pitashree ?" Amarsri asked.
"Ek pashu ka." He smiled.
"Prabhu, aisa kaunsa pashu hai jiske roop se aap, sansaar ko adharm ke kichad se ubhar sake ?" Srinav asked.
"Jo Varah kichad mei khelne hetu aatur ho, uske liye yeh karya kathin nahi hoga." Narayan said and Mata Laxmi smiled.
He closed his eyes as part of his energy came out from his divine body and took form of the boar deity, who roared loudly shaking the entire cosmos.

"Dhanya hai aap Shri Hari, shrishti ki raksha hetu aap uss pashu ka roop lene se bhi na hichkichaye jise kichad mei rehna pasand hai." Brahmadev said.
"PRABHU VARAHDEV KI JAI !" Everyone hailed.
Varahdev left Vaikunth the very next moment and swiftly made his way down to Patal lok, where the pleas of Bhu-devi could be heard.
"Raksha kijiye Narayan ! Raksha kijiye !" The pleas echoed.
On the other side Hiranyaksh was enjoying the pleasures of Swarglok when Narad Muni appeared in front of him.
"Narayan-Narayan !" Narad Muni greeted.
"Ab bhi Narayan ka hi naam jap rahe hai Devarshi ? Teeno Loko ka swami mai hu ! Ajay aur Amar Hiranyaksh !" The Asur said proudly.
"Narayan-Narayan, tumhare agyaan par mujhe hasi aati hai. Jab tak tum Bhagwan Vishnu ko nahi parast kar dete, tab tak tum na ajay ho ja amar aur na hi teeno Loko ke swami." Narad-muni said.
"Agyaani toh aap hai Munivar, Brahmadev ke vardaan ke karan mai aaj uss Vishnu se bhi Shaktishali hu. Mere bhaye se Vaikunth mei chhupa hai woh !" Hiranyaksh said.
"Arrey Murkh, woh Vaikunth mei nahi chhupe hai. Varah avatar mei patal lok jaa ke bhumi devi ko khoj rahe hai." Narad Muni said.
"Kya !?" Hiranyaksh stood up from the seat.
"Satya suna tumne. Ab jao lalkaaro unhe aur apne ahankaar ko chur-chur hote dekho." Narad Muni said.
"Mera ahankar chur-chur hota hai ya tumhare Vishnu ka astitva, yeh toh samaye hi batayega." Hiranyaksh said.
He picked up his mace and stomped out of the Swarglok. Narad Muni shook his head as a chuckle left his mouth.
"Narayan-Narayan !" He muttered chuckling, as he disappeared.
